bristow 1 Posted December 7, 2012 Hello, I just want to comment on these betas. The brightness in game is hurting my eyes. Plus whenever I exit the game, the desktop colour become over saturated for 5-10 sec before returning to normal. Windows 8 + Nvidia gtx 470 latest drivers. Lokyi 10 Posted December 7, 2012 Question; how can you change that value "in the beta", if the switch is in the server config?
NoRailgunner 0 Posted December 8, 2012 AI using binoculars (black one) too often even in urban/dense forrest areas. AI switching to their handguns/pistols (+ silenced) too fast + unreasonable and after this they don't - can't (?) switch back to their primary weapon eg assault rifle/machinegun = AI stuck with pistol in hand. Would be useful to have an option to "micromanage" AI so these and similar very annoying AI issues can be overridden by the player (as team/squad leader). Check your video brighnes and gamma in game menu it should be at 1. If you don't know how to just delete your user.cfg in the ArmA2 folder in "my data"

This is funny, because I yet have to see AI using binoculars at all in Arma 2. Do they really use it? And in what situations? I want them to scan their LOS with binoculars while patroling etc without scripts. And is binocular animation needed for AI in order to see better? Thanks and sorry for offtopic.
