giallustio 770 Posted September 21, 2012 (edited) =BTC= PUSH game mode Here's a new gameplay mode I just developed! The concept comes from BF3's RUSH. It is a TvT game: the attacking side (Blue) must destroy a weapons crate marked on the map. To do so, they have to get close enough to use the "PLANT" action on the Scroll menu. Once the demolition charge has been planted, defenders (Red) have a fixed amount of time to defuse it (with Scroll menu action "DEFUSE"). If attackers succeed, defenders are forced to withdraw and defend the next crate. Attackers win by destroying all crates. Every time an attacker is killed and respawns, his "ticket" is deducted from the total ticket counter shown on the upper part of screen; defenders win when they bring the ticket counter to zero. Revive is available during the mission, but only medics can fully heal (always by Scroll action). The medic slot must be selected at the beginning, while the roles available (rifleman,AT,MG and sniper) can be selected after any respawn, unless they're already taken. ACE mod is supported! In the first release only two maps are included and no vehicles. I'm waiting for feedback to improve the game mode. I hope you like it! Have fun! .kju 3245 Posted September 21, 2012 well done Giallustio! its still a bit basic but good concept. for the start i would suggest some indicators/helpers to guide new players like waypoints/tasks etc the retreat concept seems to block new areas for a while, but lacks any explanation or presentation too and please remove the ugly default button click sound :eek: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
giallustio 770 Posted September 21, 2012 Thank you for the feedback PvPscene! :) I know its still basic but i wanted to share with you all what i do 'till now! It's a good idea add waypoints and tasks, i was thinking about some 3d indicator or something like that but i think your idea it's the easy way. About the retreat concept...Maybe i should add a marker on the map and a hintSilent "Hold postion and wait for orders", dunno. cuel 25 Posted October 16, 2012 Noticed some bugs yesterday With revive on: people respawn in the spot they died, go unconcious. This allows the enemy to just shoot him again and gain another kill. Revive off: It takes quite a while for respawn markers to move. Also new tasks/failed tasks doesn't update every time? And the tickets didn't decrease.
