I actually leaned over the counter and saw from their internal management program, not from website. EB stores do not use their website for management purpose, they have their own program that deals with inventory.

and on that program, it said shipment arrives on 25th.

but when I went their today, the guy did look at the same inventory management program as before and said they will get the shipment today, but will put it on shelf on 3rd, and said they can't do anything about it. if they sell it to me right now, they will be fined.

so it's contarct issue i guess<span id='postcolor'>

Why do they delayed the release date of OFPR in the US if already some stores have it ?<span id='postcolor'>

My guess is that CM placed a clause in contract that EB does not put it on shelves until specific date. And breach of contract is not a good thing.

so EB can't display it until 3rd, but can have those ready already...So CM has to answer your questions I guess.

Well I am going to email CM, and ask them about it. I emailed them yesterday and they said June 28th, so will it be better to wait and but it at a store, or pre-order it?

I don't think it doesn't matter.

If you are able to have soneone recieve the package on deleivery day, it's ok to order it online, but if that's impossible, just going and buying would be better. of course, since it'll be on shelf July 3rd, the day b4 Independende Day, traffic will be horrible, so becareful, and make sure your family doesn't have travel plans.

Not that i want to pull your strings, but Resistance is scheduled to be in some german stores tomorrow (27.06 @Joysoft, probably also Mediamarkt and Saturn).

I promise to make a lot of screenshots, as for tomorrow the weather forecast predicts slight overcast, just the right day with plenty of opportunity checking out OFP:R.

Did anyone try called other stores, other than EB. A couple months ago EB got games a week later than other stores got, well, at least here they did, I dunno if it's a nation wide thing.

Im going to check a few stores on the 28th here in town, but Im not going to hold my breath. God Codemasters pisses me off sometimes; theyre holding OFP back by not advertising enough and not getting enough copies on store shelves

Bad news.......

Most of you who ordered from the codemasters US page have seen that the date on there has been moved back to the 2nd.

I just looked at my order status, which yesterday said pending shipping or somthing like that, now says Backordered

I hope this doesnt mean that it will arrive even later, im beginning to get very mad now.

i didnt pre order it but i am guessing sence it is back orderd the people who pre orderd first will get the item first and the ones who ordered at the last min may have to wait if there isnt enouf copys aftery they run out. hummm i wounder if this Pre order thing is what made resistance come out later in the US. wish you luck Timmy on getting it earlyer then the people on back order

It says 7/11 ship date on the EB games site! This is so ... not nice. I was hoping to play it this weekend with some friends coming in from out of town with some new netcode over a lan. This is royal doo doo. Whats up? Is America not cool again? I deserve bettur! I preordered this game from UK overseas last year and that means I'm a REAL fan ! Cmon man... ship me a copy today. Please? I'll even trade preorder dates of War 3 with OFP resistance to 7/3 if possible. Who needs stinkin war 3?

Hehe, in Germany you could already get it yesterday in most game stores. I just cancelled my order at Amazon.de - they won't deliver it before saturday and I'll prefer to pick it up today in a shop.
