"Invalid CD Key" Op Arrow, from Amazon

Not the first person to have this problem and judging from forums I won't be the last. Difference being I didn't get this from Steam, I didn't get this from retail, I got it from Amazon Downloads.

I bought this game today for the express purpose of playing DayZ and I find myself quite unable to do that.

Spare me the "have you looked at these threads..." because I've been going over the other "invalid cd key" threads for the past two hours and nothing works.

Sounds like you need to contact the publisher. CD keys are a publisher issue.

Did you try to run the game with admin permissions yet? (run as admin)

I've done anything that was mentioned in any other invalid cd key thread and none of it works. I called Amazon and the representative said he would change my operation arrowhead cd key but that it would take an hour to "go through", but that was six hours ago and it isn't changed. I'm going to PM Placebo my key to see if it's bad.

Yes, please let Placebo check your key first.

If there is a problem, he will tell you where/how to fix it. :)

There seems to be an issue with gamespy not receiving some of the new Amazon CD Keys (which then means they failed to authenticate) we're working on the problem right now.

Hard to tell, depends completely on gamespy. Nothing we can do here than wait for them.

Sucks of course for those who bought it for DayZ, but maybe you want to check out the Game itself while waiting. There's more interesting things than Zombies as well. ;)

I get the Invalid CD Key arrow when I try to join a multiplayer game in OA. But in normal ArmA II, I can join multiplayer matches.

there are some issues with GameSpy vs Amazon keys, please retry later today but it's possible the problem will occur until workweek ...

if the problem persist after Monday, please contact me with Your key so we can look on it

I'm also getting "BAD CD KEY" errors when attempting to play MP. My copy is from steam. Ran Data verification everything came out clean.

Nice to see that you guys are working on it since I look forward to DayZ also, but it seems it isn't for everyone i guess because my friend also purchased from amazon downloads and was able to play multiplayer, DayZ, etc. with no issues whatsoever. Looks like some of us are unlucky or he was just extremely lucky.
