Okay I'm Tired of getting Tk'ed all the time. And hearing the stupidest excuses possbile. So I hav to ask, where do you stand on this? If I TK back, you think that is fair revenge? Or just more trouble?

If you suspect that the TKs are intentional, by all means report the culprit to the admin. He/she can then ban the offender.

If you are playing a map with respawn, see if you can get the admin to host versions that have TK protection built into them. It is possible to recognize repeated TKs using scripts, and then automatically take various actions against the offender.

i agree. ignore them for a couple of times and then if continuous, report to admin.

i usually go around by myself in ctf, running around like a headless chicken, and somehow seldom got TKed. I never TKed either.

Or *caugh find them later in the game far from the spawn and put a sachel at their feet, or shoot their legs out from under them in the middle of the field.

in my first time in OFP MP(mp not the OFP itself) i shot my feloows twice thinkin of(u no why[i couldnt recognize])he was a enemy 1

and i did pretty well to my first MP game!

As an admin of a dedicated server I can tell you now revenge gets you nowhere. For a couple reasons:

[*]You don't feel much better afterwoods anyway.

[*]Player usually will not leave it at that and kill you and possibly others in further retalliation.

[*]What you really want is for him to not do it again right?, so best course of action is to report to admin for him to be kicked. Sitting the rest of the game out is ample time to contemplate the error of his ways.

1. Yes I do feel much better afterwards.

2. If it's intentionaly, he will do it again. It may take him longer to get kicked if you don't TK back. So I just think of this as speeding up the whole process.

3. Sitting out for the rest of the game will give him time to contemplate.... LOL no! Anytime I'm waiting for server to start or I get booted (by lag) I just watch TV and don't even think about OFP.

I know I don't have a favored opinion here. But can you atleast see where I am coming from?

Actually I can't really see where you are coming from.. if you TK'd him back on my server I'd simply kick you aswell.. because you'd both be morons.

Simply report the problem, if he TK'd he will be kicked, simple as that.

Yeah well that is just the general chaos that evolves from having a server with no admin, can't really be helped.

It's player's justice in those circumstances but it doesn't really benefit gameplay a great deal

There must be a way to make it if you tk you will die yourself. I know I have got rid of the spawn killer problems on my maps. I dont just add a safe zone, I make sure you cant even hit the oter teams base from the air. I also make it where the whole team dies if you enter the safe zone. I have seen a co-op map made where if you kill one of your own guys the mission ends.

Ooo tking w/o tking. Shoot em in the legs and run them down. Say your are in 1st person and couldn't see him cause ur dash is so high. Or if you are the commander, and you have AI, simply tell them to target the tker, and fire. Tker is killed by AI. And he wil l curse since AI is so "stupid", even tho u told em to kill!

Yea....... and keep having the AI tk him untill the leaves or the map is over
