max power 21 Posted February 14, 2012 Now that this juvenile line of discussion has ended (and it has ended), can we stop spamming and get back on topic please?
onlyrazor 11 Posted February 15, 2012 Yes, yes we can. Personally, I prefer expansion packs over DLC simply because online transactions are a hassle.
purepassion 22 Posted February 15, 2012 (edited) Today I have asked myself the question how future expansion should look like for Arma 3. Should they focus on content or technology? Meaning should expansions focus on content like adding new factions and units or be build around a certain aspect of the gameplay like, let's say, UAV technology or sniping mechanics and expand on that? What do you think? Edited February 15, 2012 by PurePassion
papanowel 120 Posted February 15, 2012 I would prefer your second though. We already have plenty of stuff, the gameplay is more important for me than anything else.
onlyrazor 11 Posted February 15, 2012 Why not both? They can implement new technology centered around new content
Steakslim 1 Posted February 15, 2012 indeed, no point going with one without the other. BTW an idea for an expansion in the game assuming my memory serves me correct and it was stated the "nuclear gloves came off" would be to visit some of the areas that saw some of that action, and get some kind of post apocalyptic feel going on. I know BIS loves making new, and beautiful terrains, but a change of pace by making an entire region that looks like it was on the receiving end of some rampage by genetically enhanced fire breathing retard rage babies for several years would be a nice change of scenery.
