Espectro (DayZ) 0 Posted June 7, 2002 m a betatester of directX and would just want to tell you some great news If you, as me, had some weird looking beaches wich werent smooth but was kind of triangles, you can wave this goodbye now. Mister Frag 0 Posted June 7, 2002 Those with NVIDIA-based video cards may also get a performance boost from new Detonator drivers about to be released. There are also V29.42 WHQL-certified drivers for all Windows platforms at Guru3D, which seem to be some of the best drivers released in a long time, based on feedback from those who have tried them -- I'm using them myself. The funy thing is, that with directx 8, the beaches seemed a bit smoother than 1.46, but it would get all messed up when you get a higher altitude. With directx9, the beach is as smooth as anything else both in 1.46 and 1.60. I will get a screen up soon. Hidden, I have a gf2 mx400 with 32 meg ram overclocked at 215/210 and a blue orb cooler... if thats enough information for ya Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
