I really like Ford Mustangs, and i'm talking about the old ones, not the new ones. The new ones suck, the old ones are reeeaaally cool.

They don't look that good and they aren't real racingcars or anything like that but i still like 'em.

They aren't all nice cars, yesterday i saw a really nice one.

I'll post a pic of it, it's not really the one i like the most, there are a lot of variations in it, but it's the best i could find.

any car with over 600hp will be a trailer/track queen, its just too much power to be useable in anything resembeling normal driving, its like having a rocket powered bicycle.. fast yes.. useful NO..

I like anything between 350-550 RWHP, no less, no more.. fast enough to kick the giblets out of most anything else, yet retains drivability..

I agree with you. Even though supercars are impressive they are still stupendiously expencive. Fact is you could have just as much fun with a car within most people's economic limits - such as a Caterham Superseven or a Lotus Elise/Exige. On challenging roads and  B-roads you would still be able to keep up with any Ferrari, Lamborghini etc.

I suppose american cars are allright - and a matter of aquired taste, but I prefer lightweight european sportscars (and even the odd japaneese like Mitsubishi Evo etc) such as Caterhams and Lotus because they are a perfect match for most european roads.

By the way, we do have "muscle cars" in europe as well (TVR):

They're too ordinary. They lack a soul in my opinion. I love the Viper and all. But those 60s Camaros just don't do it for me. It's just how I feel. Though I wouldn't say there is something wrong with them.

If you ask for an exotic car it's hardly what comes to my mind.

The problem is not in the performance of American cars. It is in the design, or better to say lack of. If you look at the designs of the Viper or Corvette you'll see that those are 20 years old Italian designes. Things have evolved since then.

For instace compare the interiors:

Jaguar F-type minimalistic stainless steel look:

BMW Z8: Ultimate vinyl retro old-school minimalism:

(not my thing really, but it is one of the trends)

2001-bmw-z8-2.jpg

Dodge Viper: Sombody inform them that the 80's are over!

1998Sports.Comparo.Viper.interior.jpg

Corvette: The same thing goes for the Corvette.

1998Sports.Comparo.Corvette.interior.jpg

Edit: Not to say the Koenigsegg interior

I really love that car! Unfortunately it costs 300,000€ which is about 300,000€ more then I can afford sad.gif
