walker 0 Posted October 11, 2011 (edited) Hi all From Adobe MAX 2011 a Sneak Preview of Photoshop Image Deblurring -7hBP6MfX_U A great tool but I wonder whether it will allow the blurred images of those agents and assets in seccurity agency photographs and videos, or police witnesses, or those who whistleblow to journalists to be discovered? Kind Regards walker Edited October 11, 2011 by walker

mrcash2009 0 Posted October 11, 2011 (edited) "Algorithm this Adobe ..." Well its simple, dont blur anything, use solid blackout or cut out and black out. The algorithms seems to look at medium blurring so and intense blur im not sure if it can re calculate a face, those examples were for black numbers/text and also a slight blurred image as in reversing some overall motion blur. Can only really try it on an intensely blurred/deliberately over blurred facial area image TBH, but cut out/black out is the norm. dm 9 Posted October 11, 2011 A great tool but I wonder whether it will allow the blurred images of those agents and assets in seccurity agency photographs and videos, or police witnesses, or those who whistleblow to journalists to be discovered? On the whole, I'm gonna go with "no" It really depends how they were blurred out, this tool looks to fix motion blur, not pixelation or smudge tools and the like. mrcash2009 0 Posted October 11, 2011 Its mainly an open shutter/sudden movement "in the image taken" blur removal plug-in really.

Darkhorse 1-6 16 Posted October 11, 2011 It's only a threat to anonymous witnesses if Walker gets his hands on it. ;)
loyalguard 15 Posted October 11, 2011 I agree that any serious use of blurring for security or law enforcement purposes should be able to be immune from this. @Dead3yez, I was always disappointed that video never included any clips from this (or use in its entirety): KiqkclCJsZs
