ACE for OA 1.11

Does anybody got a working yoma addonsync autoconfig-url for the new 1.12RC1 version?

My favourite addonsync-server is a little bit late today! ;)

Grabbed mine off Six Updater hours ago. :)

Anyone got information about how the mine detector works? In game it was black and untextured and didn't seem to do anything - I ended up detecting a mine with my face.

Question to ACE devs.

Does this update have any conflicts with Zeus AI?

It's not recommended to use Zeus AI with ACE, other than perhaps the scripted AI enhancements.

ACE AI settings are constantly tweaked, and together with the latest Beta patches, things should be rather good.

You have to turn it on in the interaction menu. ;)

There was a bug with spectator in the latest release: http://dev-heaven.net/issues/23592

The release on six updater was hotfixed without increasing version number, please run Verify and Repair on @ACE mod folder to retrieve the fix.

It might also be the cause of Recognize not working; http://dev-heaven.net/issues/23598

Convert the modfolders to Six Updater - @ACE is always up2date (incl hotfixes) and you save a lot of bandwidth at every update because of differential delta updating. Edited by Sickboy

Hey guys :D

I've a texture problem with ArmA 2 loaded with ACE 1.11 and lastest CBA.. :)

When ACE is running, my textures are very blurry (like in very low).. :(

But in vanilla, it runs perfectly ! :mad:

Is it possible that a different player profile is used when launching ACE? (SU starts ACE clippi and the game with a detected player name, perhaps it's wrong).

You can set the correct player profile in SU options, and per Game Profile.

Perhaps useful to include screenshots of your video settings when running with / without ACE.

How would I check (via script) if a vehicle has ACE armor system enabled or not?

And when it is enabled, how would I check if the vehicle's movement is impaired? Will the game's canMove command work as intended?

I seem to have a problem with the current update. With the previous updates i was able to identify my teammates by a player/name/object tag in white text that comes up to identify them. Now with the current update it seems to have removed that feature.

I am wondering if it is a bug or a feature which has been removed.

If anyone can help I'd be appreciated

Is there a simple way to make ACE markers show even on empty vehicles? At least ones that had someone inside before?

Not currently, it's primarily a group tracker, which also shows vehicles when they are occupied by groups.

Please create a ticket for (empty) vehicle tracker ;)

Well, I can't post an issue. I suscribed but when I click on 'create' the page is stuck in loading. I tested with Firefox and Chrome, same result..

I checked my profile in Clippi and in the game. They are the same..

Here are my settings (ACE or non ACE)

Textures very high

Video memory very high

Anisotropic high

Anti aliasing high

Terrain high

Objects very high

HDR normal

Post process off

VSync off

1920*1080

3D 100% (1920*1080)

Perhaps check your security settings / suites, and make sure to allow javascript etc.

We need your rpt file as well, and preferably a repro mission.

Another hotfix was applied to fix Explosives issues and maptools error because of spectatingON variable missing.

These should all be client-side fixes.

To retrieve the hotfixes, just run Verify and Repair on the @ACE mod folder.

Hello guys.

All my team moved to ACE² 1.12 but we have all the same bug : it is impossible to assemble a mortar, heavy machine gun...

This is normal?

Both Interaction Keys working?

Yes.

We use CSW for several versions and we never had problems :(

The wound system, C4/explosive work with the self interaction menu/interaction menu

We do not notice other problems.

Example: take a base plate for mortar,we approaches the area where we want to move, then use Interactive Self interaction menu or interaction menu and ... nothing, nothing appears !

Ps : I take this opportunity to thank you for this awesome mod ;)

My English is not very good, I can not understand the whole process to write a ticket.

that's just what I understood I had to do :

The CSW is not working

It is impossible to run the CSW, I can not assemble the mortars,

heavy machine guns etc. it nothing happens when

I use "Self interaction menu" and "Interaction menu."

* CSW not working

* Other functionality use "Self interaction menu" and "Interaction menu." are working

Edit : I use "verify and repair", maybe my problem is solved ? I'll let you know when it's over

Well, I tried to set a little bit lower the video settins (between Normal and High) and it looks quite better. But this bugs still happens (less than before however)

Damn, the bug reappeared.. :confused::mad::mad:

I don't think it's a mermory problem cuz this is perfect in Vanilla.. I got 1.5Gb of VRAM.. I think it's enough ! :confused:

I asked my friend with lower specs than me and they have the same problem.

Maybe my installation is wrong ? I tried to reinstall ArmA OA today. :(
