DiscountAnubis 10 Posted August 18, 2011 I'm gonna go out on a limb, here, and assume the policy with this mod is going to be the same as it is with PRACS, IE- THIS MOD IS IN NO WAY ACE COMPATIBLE NOR WILL IT BE MADE TO DO SO. From a small amount (VERY small amount) of testing alongside ACE, I can't really say that your game will outright break if you use this with it, but if you want full ACE functionality or compatibility... well, I wouldn't get my hopes up. No disrespect to the ACE team, obviously, and if I'm wrong, then I certainly hope I'm corrected, but the historical precedent leads me to believe that ACE compatibility isn't going to happen. wld427 1705 Posted August 18, 2011 This addon will in no way be intended to be ace "Compatable" or come with custome ACE configs. With that said it is also intended to not cause any conflicts with ACE or any other 3rd party addon set for that matter. The only incompatabilities with my addons ive found with ace involve some of thier stuff replaces default models that i inherit for my content. My testers report to me that the addon runs very well in conjunction with ace and there are no known issues. Final bits of testing are being completed. jedra 11 Posted August 18, 2011 The only issues I have found with ACE is if you try and destroy ACE armour with a non-ACE weapon. The armour system in ACE pretty much makes their stuff unbeatable. The good news is that if you want to line your RACS paratroops with Carl G's against an M1A1 Tusk, you can turn the ACE armour system off individually for units or globally. This is an issue for any non-ACE weaponry anyway (i.e its not specific to PRACS or any of wld's stuff). I use ACE a lot and PRACS a fair bit and have not come across an issue that is a game killer with a tiny bit of scripting. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
