sgtlobster06 10 Posted June 4, 2011 I WANT THIS GAME SOOOO BAD!!!!!!!!! its been my favorite game for like a year and ive never even played it!!! my POS computer cant run it, i literally sit here and watch at least 5 arma 2 videos on youtube a day (united operations videos to be specific) its driving me crazy how badly I want this game. I just got an awesome job though and I get my first paycheck on the 17th so hopefully ill be buying a computer then! But man.... celery 8 Posted June 4, 2011 Here's hoping you get that good PC. It's a good game even with its flaws. I've had similar feelings with some games in the past, just knowing that they're going to hit the spot for me when I upgrade my rig. One of them was Mass Effect, although I purposely didn't gather much info about it, only read the prologue book. instagoat 133 Posted June 4, 2011 I feel you. I couldn´t do without my daily fix of Arma/OFP. It is the best game that ever graced the face of the planet. At least as far as toyboxes go. nettrucker 142 Posted June 4, 2011 If I were you . . . I would buy a rig that can handle the ArmA 3 specs even it's not released yet. andromedagalaxe 10 Posted June 10, 2011 Not to make you want the game more but here's a summary of play from last night that demonstrates why this is the greatest game ever. During a user-made campaign I downloaded where a squadmate and I start out with just pistols, I was able to: 1. Assassinate an enemy and his body guards and take their weapons. Use those weapons to capture a vehcile with mounted weapon. 2. Attack a fixed position; Order my squad mate to disassemble the mounted machine gun at the fixed position, pack it up and put it on his back, drop his pistol and make the MG his main weapon. 3. We now had the firepower to surprise and assault a squad-sized force. 4. Run over some chickens. None of this was scripted, just how I chose to play. solidsnake2384 10 Posted June 15, 2011 Oh and the clan I play with did an airborne op in Takistan. We got geared up, did some practice drops in the Osprey then finally continued the op. We jump out, had one guy die from the drop (didnt pull his chute fast enough) but everyone else survived. Everyone regrouped, planned out our way to the objective and did our business. When we got to the town there were about 5 tanks. We called in a freaking A10 and I have the Blastcore mod so the gun/explosion effects look way more realistic and detailed.
