dimitri_harkov 10 Posted May 29, 2011 (edited) Great pack, thanks :) May I request a model/texture representing the Bundesgendarmerie? It existed until 2005 and was the police force outside of major cities, and thus much more important and widely known and seen as the actual 'Bundespolizei'. Cheers, D. No Austria Mod or someone else and the Austrians have so many done international. Good work neighbor!!! Since I heard of some teamwork with the German KSK you might play a little bit with that idea too... http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jagdkommando_(Bundesheer) and apart from that http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steyr_HS.50 all the other weapons like the aug a3 already exist... I'm not a modder myself but I could think of some nice combined coop missions using those two countries. Edited October 29, 2011 by pandur
marseille77 53 Posted October 31, 2011 @pandur Yeah good idea. Thanks for the hint. I shown some photos on internet. Use them the standard austrian uniform under the vest? Revoluzer 10 Posted November 1, 2011 Nice, that you are doing some Austrian stuff. If you are doing infantry, can you make some "Panzergrenadiere". At the moment I am serving as PGren - are you also doing infantry units?
marseille77 53 Posted November 1, 2011 Nice, that you are doing some Austrian stuff. If you are doing infantry, can you make some "Panzergrenadiere". At the moment I am serving as PGren - are you also doing infantry units? Yes I plan it and the infantry is WIP. Uploaded with ImageShack.us After I study the Bundesheer Website about the equipment. Nearest all vehicles and weapons are made by other mods: - Dingo (AMT) - Puch G (AMT or Switzerland Mod) - LMV (Pedagne Mod) - Weapons (vilas/Christian.1987) - S-70 (BIS UH-60) - Unimog (GAF or AMT) - C-130 (BIS) - Eurofighter (Hardrock or RKSL) - Leopard 2A4 (vilas/FDF/Switzerland Mod) - Kiowa (?) - Pandur (?) - Ulan IFV (?) - Bell 212 (BIS UH-1)

Revoluzer 10 Posted November 1, 2011 Why are you calling it "Austra" mod and not "Austria" mod Concerning your picture: This is the light Battle gear for the "Jäger-Bataillon" but other troops use the "new" Battlejacket: http://www.bhi.at/kazneu/pk/pk02.jpg Are you going to do a backpack, if not, dont add that BIS standard one, as it looks odd. Concerning the helmet, we are using some kind of cover for it (Überzug) http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/223/556mmmg4le3.jpg/ @Pandur - this are only "Jagdkommando" units, they don't represent the army in any way and should be added last...
pandur 10 Posted November 1, 2011 concerning the backpacks: there are some mod-backpacks, which look pretty good already. I use them in a couple of missions and they work well. http://www.arma2base.de/include.php?path=news&contentid=3325 @Pandur - this are only "Jagdkommando" units, they don't represent the army in any way and should be added last... Not our choice buddy... ;)
marseille77 53 Posted November 1, 2011 AustrA stands for "Austrian Assault". It's only mixed new art word for the mod like my GermA Mod ("German Assault"). Inspired by the game name ArmA (Armed Assault). Some new work for my Austrian Weapon Pack Steyr Ma1
