Reloading Icon thingy - how to disable?

The green icon which appears in the middle of the screen to indicate reload your weapon, I'm playing on regular setting but I've gone into options/difficulty/edit, and disabled just about everything and it's still there, I've seen gameplay videos where it doesn't show, cant figure it out, not a huge deal I just find it annoying right in the middle of the screen.

I don't recall such an icon, but I should say that it's most probably the result of me running an addon that removes it. Like ACE2, Proper, SLX or something along those lines.

IIRC, it's an icon that shows a rifle magazine with a circle with arrows surrounding it. It only appears when your current magazine is empty.

There is no standard option to disable these icons, but like DMarkwick said, some mods do reposition or remove them.

yeah, in this video (not mine) it appears at 0.21 right after firing, an arrow in a circle

doesn't look like much but if you use an anti-tank weapon and the tank is at distance the icon practically obscures the target right at the point of impact, also my screen res setting is 1280x1024 that thing looks a whole lot bigger.

The PvPScene Addons MovedActionIconTextPositionToActionMenu (Visuals), DisabledCenterHandIcon (Visuals) and ShowTextInsteadOfActionIcons (Visuals) will do this for example, maybe the first one is enough for you.

Thanks Scruffy, I'll check it out, looks like a lot of other cool stuff on there like disable squad portraits which is something else I was thinking of.:)
