Probably don't need to explain what Project Messiah is to regulars of this board, but it's generally used as a character animation tool, for which it has no serious rival. It has, like Modo, expanded it's abilities to do things like rendering etc, but character animation is it's forte. For a $10 outlay/wager (which I believe is refundable if the target is not met) it's a no brainer. I would have gone for a Pro licence on Windows, but I didn't have the cash spare. I was so pleased, I mentioned it to my girlfriend on the phone.
