Either the textures are flickering between low and high res in various combinations of settings, or they just stay low res from a short viewing distance. To save people new to the thread some time, and to encourage them to help, could you please post/repost your system specs, including GPU driver version (don't much care about directX if you've tried updating it), and the steps you've taken so far? (Spoiler tags are great for saving space) Incidentally, I see you're using 6870s in Crossfire. There seems to be a some problem with those in Crossfire with the latest drivers. Maybe You should contact Ati for better drivers for their latest cards as its not just this game that has crossfire problems. There is nothing for BIS to fix.
