[Crossfire problem] LOD Textures & Crossfire - Problem

Recommended Posts

Ok, so here's another thread to carry on with.

More descriptive, less ranty.

To summarise, here are other threads describing the issue. Crossfire support has also become a problem.

The low details textures ones is the biggest gripe.

Either the textures are flickering between low and high res in various combinations of settings, or they just stay low res from a short viewing distance.

For arguments sake, I will download the entire game again and start from scratch. (Steam version)

Really? the other threads weren't good enough for you? Call me crazy, but I would post in the thread already available instead of constantly starting new ones...

See, less ranty makes life so much more pleasant for everyone.

To save people new to the thread some time, and to encourage them to help, could you please post/repost your system specs, including GPU driver version (don't much care about directX if you've tried updating it), and the steps you've taken so far? (Spoiler tags are great for saving space)

Incidentally, I see you're using 6870s in Crossfire. There seems to be a some problem with those in Crossfire with the latest drivers. Assuming you're using the 10.12s, have you tried a previous version?

Crossfire works absolutely fine for Me with a 4870x2. Maybe You should contact Ati for better drivers for their latest cards as its not just this game that has crossfire problems. There is nothing for BIS to fix.

Stop spamming your useless thread all over the forums, Arthur. Can a mod lock and/or delete this thread?

Since the threadstarter decided to take it to the court (good luck) I think we can close this one.
