hneel 0 Posted May 10, 2002 My favorite band? Make a guess.... Other favorites: Soundgarden Ramones Dandy Warhols 16 Horsepower The Gun Club The Pogues The Doors Jimi Hendrix Nirvana etc... I also like some rap, especially crossover-rap, and early eighties style. Few of the nowadays hiphop. I *HATE* R&B. I just can't stand that. I used to hate 80's disco, but nowadays I find it kinda funny.

Assault (CAN) 1 Posted May 10, 2002 Hmmmm, lets see. I like mostly Canadian alternative music and some other stuff. Canadian Bands: -The Tragically Hip -Our Lady Peace -Matthew Good Band -I Mother Earth (early stuff) -Nickleback -TrebleCharger (early stuff) I also like 60's and 70's rock, like Led Zepplin, Jimmy Hendrix, and CCR. As for other stuff: -System of a Down -Static X -Metallica -Stone Temple Pilots -Soundgarden -NOFX -Rage Against The Machine....... I like their music, but some of their lyrics, I do not like. Especially when they condone killing police officers. I also hate it when they mention their socialist/communist crap, but the music is good. I hate: Techno, Rap, Pop, and Country There you have it. I wonder just how much money they spend on props. hehe<span id='postcolor'> I didn't see much of the show, because I was working at the door, and only went to check out a couple of their songs, and it was good. I heard most of the concert, and I seen them do sound check, but they didn't use any props then. Man, I wish they would come back so I could watch the whole show. -=Die Alive=-
Nic 0 Posted May 11, 2002 Yeah, if they ever tour again, you should really check it out...its like no show you have ever seen before. But if you ever get a chance to check it out i suggest wearing your worst clothes...it get really messy. They usually pick various stars or people in the news that are generally hated(and of course fit in with the song), make life size mechanical versions of them, and kill em. The "puppets" are fitted with hidden hoses that spew fake blood and such all over the audience. The show I went to featured Mike Tyson, Osama Pinyada, and Gor Gor (it was the size of the whole stage! ), to name a few. It was definately the funniest show I have ever seen

"Symbolistic Whitewalls" is one of my all time favourite songs. TrebleCharger actually played at my college's Frosh party at the beginning of the school year! Amazing show. They also did a cover of the Beastie Boys "You gotta Fight for Your Right", and of Ozzy's "Crazy Train" right before playing "American Psycho". . Those guys were great fun, halfway throughout they told us to "Get back in that beer tent and get shit faced!!" because "You all don't look drunk enough". When everyone started trowing these rubber stress-balls we had been given, they were great about it, laughing and saying that usually it was beer bottles, and when they were done playing, we made so much noise they came back out for an encore! Well, they photocopied their bare asses and showed them to the audience which had to guess who's ass it was. That was pretty funny. They also played assorted covers too, like that Beastie Boy's song, and some Guns and Roses too. </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">"Symbolistic Whitewalls" is one of my all time favourite songs. <span id='postcolor'> Yeah!, that's an oldie but a goodie. *sings* "Symbolistic whitewalls, surround me and you. Every single day I am cheap and see-through" I think 'Underdogs' was their best album though. Tyler

Most of the girls got most of the Canada Dry down the front of their shirts, and I was standing in the front row against the barrier. Now that's entretainment!!
