aaman 0 Posted November 30, 2010 (edited) Why texview always crash vhen try to convert 64x64 textures from tga to pac files? Tried to change the DPI to 2, textures look like shit, but still the same crash...:( And i cant see the tga picture that i open...... Converting jpg to tga first and set the right size. The strange thing is that i can view the jpg files before converting them to tga... Edited November 30, 2010 by aaman
W0lle 1052 Posted November 30, 2010 Make sure that when you save the image as tga, you save it as uncompressed. Texview seems not to like compressed tga images.
aaman 0 Posted November 30, 2010 (edited) Solved the problem. I used a bad converting tool genius 2, dont use it. Avs4you work better. Yes i had to first size the pictures in jpg format and then convert to tga. Too bad they (avs4you) leave there mark on the texture. But they are for free.... Hurray..... Fuzzmaster 21 Posted November 30, 2010 Well... you can also use gimp : it's free and there are no marks on the textures.
Macser_old 0 Posted December 1, 2010 Yeah.Gimp is well worth checking out.Like Blender it's continuing to evolve. They aren't perfect solutions, but then again, neither are some of the commercial apps. And of course they're very cost effective. :)
