That's what i'm waiting for, with pleasure. I'm waiting for the good quality. If i will not, i could play 31st. but then with eye-cancer.

Not saying that 31st is bad (they've also put a lot of work in it!), but I also prefer to wait longer for I44 if its quality rises up this way!

yup,the only prob with 31st is they released to early with the big amount of addons

I dont think, that they released to early. Quality is okay. The mod is in my Eyes great. Will be updated next time and than it will be much better. The point is, you have units to play with. What would you do without 31 normandy mod. Arma 2 would lay around and wait for a ww2 release. 31. Normandy mod has british soldiers, russian soldiers with many tanks. I use them a lot. all u have to do is to put them empty on the map and put a crew in. I really like 31 mod and cant wait for their next release.

To wait for good quality is one thing, but good quality does not help you, when you never play it, because arma 3 is out. The Opf version was released 1 or 2 month before arma 1 release. the Arma version 1 day after arma 2 release. I just played 3 hours and than throw it away, but the addons ins arma 2, and couldn bring the wehrmachtsoldiers to work. so arma 2 lay around. just made some tests here and some tests here. I know, this time developement wont be so long. But all I say is, that I would take less quality because, you will come over to play it. good quality takes too much work. I never understood, why they didnt made it with small releases. At first an infantry pack, than a support pack, small tank pack, heavy tank pack and a script pack and even more ones. So they could release something for the folks, and can do their job as well as they want without developing 5 years and more. Bundeswehr mod is working on that way. what ever, I stop talking now.

First, i don't see why you can't play previous game even if a new one is out. I44 (thanks to Bielow supported by I44 team) is still updated for OFP, and people still play it with pleasure. It's ridiculous to throw away a game because the next version is out.

Second, it's up to the modders to release their stuff as they like, even if it takes 10 years to complete. They don't owe anything to anybody.

Third, it doesn't go enough quickly for you ? Just help them instead of sitting on your ass waiting for something to come. And don't send me some "I can't because of my RL" cause we all have a RL here.

I would not comment on something...I mean who is upset, the privately created mods in the completion to take a long time the mods givet for free.

clearly it is stupid if you must wait for his favorite mod.but imagine times before it would not be news or status reports...God that would be so boring.

They dont have 'ä' in other parts of the world, its just us idiotic germans needing special chars to feel special. ;)

Well, that's not true.

There is the same/similar letter in Finnish, Swedish, Slovakian, Estonian and Turkic languages too (and maybe in some others).

But that's highly off-topic. Looking forward to the release!

Not the only one, there're a plenty countries in and around europe that use "strange" dots and letters, like norway, sweden, russia, bulgaria, croatia, czech and so on. If it shall be authentic it also gotta be spelled right at least ;) Same for sentences on army's advertising posters which may appear ingame.

Most of community (i don't tallking about everyone) is playing AII or OA . Level of complexity of addons is more complicated if addon is more detail. Ofp has less level of complex than Arma II or even Arma I. It will take a lot of time to learn everything. e.g I had unfinished stuff from I44. Wow. Most of You is thinking - it will be relase next month - nope. It taking a lot of time to make something good. With good looking textures, Lod's and proper config. If addon is more complicated than it takes more time to create or even finish it. I'm big I44 fan since first minidemo and always i was impressed about quality of their toys.

My solution to peoples is : Try to make someting yourself. You will be happy (if You will can do it of course :D ) if not - wait for release. It's ridiculous that most of "fans" simply forget that work of addon makers if free. You do not have to pay for this.

As ProfTournesol mentioned there is something like Real life... not only work with addons. Why someone must working 24/24 because someone said "I want it now" :/
