IndeedPete 1038 Posted March 4, 2011 Jep, that's to prevent the player from landing far off the mission area. A bit "cheating" but hey, better than walking 500 miles, right?^^ I heard that players have issues with beta versions. The campaign was supposed to run without mods and an older version of Arma. If there are issues with the newest patch (NOT beta) i will take a look to see what's what. ;)
j rock 10 Posted March 5, 2011 (edited) yup its hell lot better than walking 500 miles,,, n if u carry on with the mission u gonna really enjoy it feels like the movie tears of the sun, get a vip and getting hunt down by enemy, very spec op. and wiz choice that u don't hav to escort those civi u saved as well, no matter how well the story or design of a mission AI always hav a way to ruine it all. GreenRanger1978 10 Posted March 5, 2011 This is one of the few missions where you can tell a lot of thought and planning went into. Keep up the good work!! :)
Viz92 10 Posted May 12, 2011 Hey Pete Started Op. Red star and I love it so far. But after i finished the chernagorsk mission i got the same error some one else in this thread mentioned and can not start the next mission. tom3kb 15 Posted May 12, 2011 @Viz92 if nothing gona help use cheat campaign in campaign menu. You gona have list of all missions and you can load the next mission. Push shift and - on num keyboard. After that write campaign. If you do this right you have list of all missions in campaign menu.
Viz92 10 Posted May 12, 2011 @tom I'll try that when i get home but unfortunately that means I'll have to skip "Known terrorist threat." It says it can't play the mission because I'm missing file ca_uav or something (ill give the exact file when i get home)
IndeedPete 1038 Posted May 13, 2011 Yes, that's the UAV module. Seems like BIS changed something when CO came up. You should try it with combined operations, then it should work. :)
