I like the high grass and this lil road,but i think although we could use the models we couldnt use the whole "game" because it might be made for faster computers than the normal OpF-Player has..

@antichrist, thats what i was talkin about everyone has seen the screens but the features are awesome.

ok we need to create an elite team of ofp gamers to make a strategic strike on a u.s computer simulation and training area.

expecting heavy resistance, we just need to get some recruits.

remember they ahve only had it for a while we've had it for a long time. we CAN DO IT.....

it may not be a game as such, but i never said it was, i don't really want to or ever will get a chance to shoot somone with a M-16 in real life.

reality shows and reality games are what make the grade now days.

if its a true simulator i will be even happier than a game.

besides i'm sure modders could chang eit into a game, just keeping the realism, and the physics model.

Where is the difference between OpF and VBS,between Game and Trainingssimulator?I think there isnt a difference in the the "game engine" or in the models and it isnt the quality,is just the purpose...you can learn with OpF,too,if you want to.

Just take some real-life soldiers put them in front of the game,link them with net and headsets,and here we go using the same tactics and drill as in real life...

I think the difference is only that we play for having fun and the others play to learn,but you can play VBS with the same intention as OpF

If they would have some intelligence, nobody except the us navy would have known that they even made it. Then we wouldn't be unhappy. (ok, maybe its good for commercials saying stuff like "even the navy uses our stuff"

Nope cuz the yare much mroe detailed that in OFP. U need at LEAST a gedforce 3 and a p4 1.5 GHz to play VBS1 ;(

There was talk once of releasing simplified models and units from VBS in a data disc for OFP...but then that died down and Independence Lost was annouced...so I expect to see lots of new exciting models and units in that...well we've all seen the pictures.
