Microsoft error reporting fail

Hey

I duno what ive done but when i get microsoft error report and try to send it /click on more information i get an error box pop up:

This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action.Create an association in the folder options control panel.

Any ideas how i fix it.

Can you include screenshots of the incident so we can help further. Struggling to understand what happens exactly.

That means the file you're trying to open must have an association and actually, there is not. Windows ask you to select with which program it should open the file.

What is your windows version ?

About your edit, yes you can, always better to know what kind of file you're opening ;)

Uh... doesn't that screen come up long before windows even loads? I'm pretty sure that happens during the POST.
