I.M.G. 0 Posted September 21, 2010 I would like to see an increase to the maximum altitude, say 150,000m.
[frl]myke 14 Posted September 21, 2010 Are you planning to create a ISS/Space Shuttle addon? Although i'm flying a lot in A2/OA, i've rarely hit the limit.
maddogx 13 Posted September 21, 2010 No offense, but this sounds like a pretty pointless suggestion. Anything at that height would be in Earth orbit, meaning it would have to leave the map within seconds. (Stuff up there is moving very fast, you know.) Unless you want to put things in geostationary orbit, which is more like 30.000km up. But then, how would those things interact with anything on the ground? What would be the point? Dead3yez 0 Posted September 21, 2010 (edited) Not to mention the changes to the game engine to account for the changes in physics to simulate those altitudes. ~ size of chernarus vs 150km height | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |_| Edited September 21, 2010 by Dead3yez
-)rStrangelove 0 Posted September 21, 2010 Even IF it would work what would you do up there? - you cant see the ground (fog fx) so no point taking photographs - you cant bomb anything from there, it would take minutes to hit something and you'll be probably got bored by then / fell asleep - nothing can see you/shoot at you from the ground, the distance to you would be even more then 150km

CarlGustaffa 4 Posted September 21, 2010 Make a resource and show this image instead. You get pretty much the same screen.
