I wish ot last one misson loonger :) Defend base one was tough as hell but manageable. Loved czech references/jokes in it and in Merlin transport SP mission. Thanks BIS. VariousArtist 19 Posted August 31, 2010 Strange, I found the BAF campaign as uncreative as most other Arma1+2 campaigns. Lacking narrative, lacking dramaturgy and they never show what Arma is really capable of. Wasted showcase principle.
Zipper5 74 Posted September 1, 2010 I do think that sometimes BIS makes some odd design choices with their campaigns and official missions, such as in mission 2 they forced the player to use a convoy of Jackals. I'm sure they know how bad the AI are when trying to act as a convoy, but they put it in there anyways. It is a bit strange... The SP scenarios are excellent through-and-through, though. However, I certainly didn't find it lacked narrative or drama. In fact, I'd say the monologues the main character makes are a bit too narrative and dramatic. :p I definitely enjoyed it a lot more than Operation Arrowhead or Harvest Red. In terms of the ArmA series so far I'd have to say it's underneath Eagle Wing for best official campaign.
