pipscouse 10 Posted August 15, 2010 Posted in General. If the new patch is not yet finished - an option to lock the W (forward) key to "on" would be really useful, so that players don't have to sit for ages pressing W key on long treks to targets. Binded with another key (in the way weapon raised/lowered is) would be ideal. Devs PLEASE consider including this. Do other players agree?

NeoHazard 10 Posted August 16, 2010 Yes, as in the other thread I agree. Just like an MMO like world of warcraft... takes a tedious bit out.

Darkhorse 1-6 16 Posted August 16, 2010 My personal solution is to wedge a 25mm round (From a Bradley) with the business end on the key, and the back end resting against the front of my monitor. *I am not kidding*

kylania 568 Posted August 16, 2010 I've trained a wild spider monkey to respond to a call of "BOBO AUTORUN!" at which he starts to hold down the W key. When I'm finished autorunning I spray him with a water bottle to get him to let go of W and then offer him some dried banana chips.
Inkompetent 0 Posted August 16, 2010 When I'm finished autorunning I spray him with a water bottle to get him to let go of W and then offer him some dried banana chips. Not sure I'd agree with your method of water spray + reward. He might start liking the water sprays since they mean bananas for him when he has been auto-running! I'd make him respond to "ACHTUNG! HALT!" or somesuch instead.
tonygrunt 10 Posted August 16, 2010 I have the MS Sidewinder X6 keyboard and it has a lock key. You can even lock 2 keys like Q+W for vehicles.
Psycho78 10 Posted August 17, 2010 It's a bit silly, but you can use the + key to speed up time 4x. That helps some.

Darkhorse 1-6 16 Posted August 19, 2010 Those aren't all the patches I have. My dad was U.S. Army for 26 years, i've got craploads + roughly 50 Unit Coins. Those happened to be the ones I had on my desk however. ;)

Darkhorse 1-6 16 Posted August 19, 2010 Thanks to ACE stamina I never have to worry about running that far. That's almost as good as "Holy Troska's Balls". You my friend have now won the internets. Or part of them. :p
