ArmA 2 & Operation Arrowhead Reddot sight fix

the Red dot it too large in the game it needs to be smaller and solid red as it is a laser making it the current one is unrealistic. One should also be able to adjust the brightness. Thanks for listening.

Hey..BTW i want to add that in RCO's secondary optics ("reflex" its called?)

..the red dot is HUGE..

Beyond "aesthetic" reasons..its impossible to aim accurately at something beyond

10 meters.. :/

The reflex sights and the Reddot this would be a great easy fix to implement I think. They need secondary optics on the SCAR TWS also.

Problem with fixing the red dot is that it looks good when unzoomed and too big when zoomed in.

Well the zoomed unzoomed has been there since the OFP days. I personally cannot hit anything unzoomed. So in ArmA land you have a bionic eye with 2xzoom...lol

How about fixing the red dot on the M14 so it actually hits where the dot is and not to the left of it? Or having a red dot version of the Mk16 and holo version of the Mk17?

Basically about sec.optics..it would be easier if "they" make the un-zoomed dot

i.e 1pixel in size,so in "aim" mode it would be in 'right' size.

It has no sense to have optics who just "looks right" as 3d model and

has no really use...

As i saw..in O.A they fixed the EOTECK model that was very "clumsy" in A2.

They made the "aimed version" more "..thin"-but this hasn't happened with other optics,and

the best part is..none until now complained.

I think the majority of community "eats whatever others serves them".

That's sad -no hard feelings tho..

...Or another way to look at it is that the majority of the community actually LIKES how it is and don't want it changed; so, SURPRISE :eek: !!! They're not going to complain about it

That's life -no hard feelings tho...

I guess that's why BIS has public beta patches and a place to report bugs; because they just make us "eat whatever they serve us". :386:

..as myself.

I m struggling here -as lots of other ppl- to make this game/Sim

even better or 'perfect'

You would be struggling if you were creating an addon to fix that

Well..every man's "fighting" the way he can.

I don't know much of programming to create an addon ,but i know how to recognize

"Right" of "Wrong",and i talk about it ,so maybe some ppl be so kind and fix it.

In the other hand i don't believe this is a community addon-makers-job.

This "fix" should be Official..as is meant to be from beggining..

Anyways..i stated enough reasons in my 1st and 2nd post for this matter.
