I am quite new to modding arma, and modding for arma as well. That said, forgive me if I am being dumb or forgot to look for something. I seem to be at a problem. I worked on making a realistic terrain for around 3 days. Then, i booted up Terrain Processor and realized that there was no "import .raw" or "import .png". The only file extension I found was .dem. I am not trying to use terrain data from the earth. I would like to find a way to either convert a .png or .raw to a .dem, or figure out how to import a .raw or .png to the terrain processor Thank you for your time

Hi I'm trying to process a heightmap but Terrain Processor keeps sitting at 100% CPU and never seems to finish. Do I just need to be more patient? How long should an 8192px heightmap take to process? My TP settings are as follows: And when running this is as far as I get: And this is the DEM/heightmap as viewed in QGIS:

Hello! There is a problem, when i click in Terrain Processor - Add new task button, it closing without any errors. Just closing, to desktop. I tried: Check tools files in steam, reinstal tool and for another hdd too, run from administrator, with W7 compatibility. A3 files unpacked, buldozer installed. Terrain processor does not work. Thank You for Help!

All, I am building a terrain and am already pretty far in the process (we are finalizing the objects on the map). When I first started, I imported the PNG file of the height map, and I have levelled the roads by hand. It has been a painful process and I often still see some roads that need adjustments. Unfortunately until recently I had no idea that there was a Heightmap Road Integration for Terrain Processor, my bad. However, I would still like to give it a try and see if it can solve some issues that I'm seeing. Can I do that? I only have the original height map in PNG format (not .ASC, which is what is required by the plugin) that I imported when I first created the terrain. Since I modified the terrain quite a lot, I see that there are new layers for the heigh map in Terrain Builder. I don't think that the original PNG file that I imported contains the information of all the changes that I've done since then. I found that I can export the terrain information as an .ASC file, but how would I go to reimport it in Terrain Builder? Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you, _SCAR,

is there a way of getting log messages from terrain builder and terrain processor? I'm having problems with both and would like to get more information to see what the problem is.
