this can be played on both ARMA2 and OA , in OA you will get the

US and TK and PMC factions as well as there weapons and vehicles.

You can recruit AI into your group to help you on the way.

You can have the same amount of fun with one or many

players, The AI can do almost everything a Player can do Sometimes Better.

AI will use eveything on the map, All vehicles and Weapons they will also

fill the Gunner spots and cargo spots of a vehicle whether it is used by an

AI or Player.

They all look after themselves and will complete the mission without any help.

But its nice to have support .

Get to a base and stand close to it until the flag changes.

The Flag will not change if there is any Enemy close.

If you need a Gunner or Crew for your Vehicle. Just pull up near an AI thats on foot

and he will get in filling the Gunners spot first.

Feel free to jump in a AI's vehicle as a gunner as they already know what to do.

As you kill off the AI the Game will Spawn more to keep the selected amount on the island.

You select how many AI to be on each side in the Parameters menu.

You can also select thier skill level , Where they spawn from , How many vehicles spawn at each base. and if the Vehicles can respawn.

Time of day can be selected also.

To make it that little harder to win i added Air Support for the side that has only 1 base

left, Planes will come in and destroy as much of the winning side then leave.

Vehicles will respawn when they can no longer be used.

If you take over base 4 and base 5 you will also have planes at the airport while you

own those bases.

There is always intense action happening on the island somewhere.

The game play can change as each base is won or lost.

It is good for RAMBO/SNIPER/ACTION or STRATEGIC Team Game play.

I cannot extract the SP missions rar

EDIT: I can only get the Takistan ones to extract, it say's the Utes one is broken, using 7-Zip

7zip reports error when extracting BattleField_3_(SP)_CTI.utes.pbo and BattleField_3_PVP.utes.pbo.

ok changed them to ZIP , hope you have better luck :)

I got error in mission "City war":

You dont have factions for one side.Default Arma2 factions set

what ver of ARMA are you using AO or just arma2 ??

if you have just arma2 it automaticly skips the factions and reverts just to standard factions its not an error

i have tested all missions again , all works with different factions , i am running AO CO , the missions check you cfgvehicles for the factions , your arma may be corrupted or your not running CO , as i have not checked if that makes a difference..

Has anyone else had simular issues ??

as if its a bug i will want to fix that one quick

yes, i had this issue too in SP CITYWAR and WAR for OIL. i running AO CO.

Hi again!

Tested all SP missions on clear 1.59 OA CO without beta patches and mods.

I still have permanent error in CITYWAR and ITS_MY_OIL missions. i have this error with any faction options, even with defaults, and for any side. Game becomes almost freezed and looped with message "You dont have factions for one side.Default Arma2 factions set".

And about error, that i write before, when i cant respawn after killed in vehicle in CTI SP mission. Sad to say, this bug caused by ACE mod. Without ACE respawn works fine.

Reinstalled ARMA2 and ARMA OA again.Dont work :mad:.Incompatibility caused by game language?

ok next question .......do you add the missions to your arma2\missions folder ?

and play them as a scenario ??

and does CTI utes work well for you ?

also have you tried the MP versions and do you have the same error ?

Yes,the mission are i n the correct folder.I have play the mission also in MP.dont work with the same error.The cti mission work fine also in MP.

Nice missions;)!

I can confrim this. Changed Language from German to English, and it works.
