CreepPork_LV answered my question on Steam: @Vernei This is a know issue, it only exports Virtual Arsenal items at the moment. We had a bit of an issue when we released our major update, 1.0.0, that resulted in miscommunication and the "real" inventory copying and pasting was removed by mistake. It will be coming back so don't worry.

I'm coming back from about a 1 year break from Arma. I used to Zeus quite a bit and used this mod (among many other things) to drop custom resupply boxes for players. I would place a bunch of items into a box, then use Ares to copy the inventory out, save it as a text file, and paste it into boxes in missions as I needed. I've come to rely on this feature and I use it in each of my Zeus missions. Now, when I use the Paste Inventory module, everything seems to work right, and I get a confirmation saying it worked, but the pasted items aren't in the box. Additionally, when I spawn an ammobox from the Empty>Supplies>Ammo, and try and copy its contents out, the only thing in the dialogue box is this: [[],[],[],[]] even though there are items in the box. I've loaded a clean mission (just the player unit and a Zeus module) with only the Ares Achilles mod and CBA_A3 loaded, and the issue still persists. I've been unable to find any info here or on the BIS forums. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Poolpunks' Wishlist and Object Collection
Vernei replied to poolpunk's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Thanks Wansec! I really hope Poolpunk is able to do a medical items pack. I think its a part of the game that's really being neglected for the most part. Ok, now that my first request has had some time to sink in, how about a second one: I would like to see a LOGISTICS ITEMS pack. As you've stated on your blog, you already have a number of boxes/containers made, and these items would be in addition to those. Here are examples of what I feel would be critical to include: 1: A forklift. Ideally, this would be a drive able vehicle rather than just an object, but even the object would add a lot of immersion. Perhaps it could come in multiple different colors as well. 2: A military forklift. Again, ideally this would be a drive able vehicle rather than just an object, but this is intended for outdoor/military use. It would be great if these would come in different camo styles, and also perhaps even a version with an armored cab to protect against small arms fire and shrapnel. http://military-vehicle-photos.com.s3.amazonaws.com/7668.jpg (102 kB) http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2197/2270309053_5ee4d098ba_o.jpg (5496 kB) 2a: Piggybacking on the above, a military bulldozer would be amazing. I know there's already a BLUFOR dozer, but it is sorely lacking. Having an armored military bulldozer could open up a lot of missions, especially for those of us who like to play with modern-day weapons. http://www.army-technology.com/projects/7054/images/141414/large/3-image.jpg (110 kB) 3: Containers, containers, containers. Anything you can think of really, below are a list of ideas. Ideally, most, if not all of these objects would be full Arma-compatible containers to allow for the use of airdrops or actual logistics usage. Individual and palatalized stacks of Pelican cases: Really, just palatalized everything. If you can think of it, put it on a military pallet and put a cargo net on top of it. Seabags/Gear: http://northiowatoday.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/1050015.jpg (314 kB) Cardboard Boxes: http://militaryaircraft-airbusds.com/portals/0/Images/Missions/Military/Transport/Pallets01.jpg (198 kB) MREs, MREs, MREs! Water Bottles: Truck Tires: You really can't go wrong with almost anything you can think of. 4: Trailers: Ideally this would be tow-able, but folks may need to use a 3rd party like R3F's Logistics Script (which is amazing btw) to make towing work. Ok that's all I can think of for now. I'm sure more will come to mind later, at which point I will edit this post or add a new post. Thanks again Poolpunk! -
USMC Aircraft (AV8B/AH1/UH1)

And I got my info from five years of active-duty service in the Air Wing and two combat deployments. Who do you think is more likely to be correct? -
USMC Aircraft (AV8B/AH1/UH1)
Vernei replied to Maj D. Schultz's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
For the record, the USMC also flies the CH-46 Sea Knight, and the FA/18C/D. If you really want to get into the weeds about it, HMX-1 also flies the VH-3D Sea King and the VH-60N WhiteHawk as presidential transport helicopters. If you're going to be critical, at least be accurate. To Karneck, thanks for your mod. I'm looking forward to checking it out for my MEU mission on the Imrali map where we launch from Atlas' LHD. Oohrah. -
Poolpunks' Wishlist and Object Collection
Vernei replied to poolpunk's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Poolpunk, First off, I love your beach objects mod. They are of exceptionally high quality and while I've been too busy in the few days since you released it, they will soon become a big part of adding realism and immersion to my missions. Thank you so much. With that, I'm so glad you started this thread. I have a LARGE number of requests for object packs and other things I feel that Arma is missing and would add tremendously to realism and immersion. First, please create a MEDICAL ITEMS pack. This pack would include objects like litters, stretchers, gurneys, blood refrigerators, surgical tables, etc, etc, etc. Here are a few examples of what I feel would be critical to be included in this objects pack: 1: A medical litter. This would ideally be a vehicle of some sort which would allow the wounded to be loaded onto it and carried by two other players, but failing that, just simply having a placeable object in Zeus or as a normal mission object would be incredible. 2: A blood refrigerator. This would be amazing to put in all of the medical cargo houses and hospitals to add to immersion. Ideally, this would also be a container that would allow for players to grab blood/saline bags out of them. http://spacecode.com/healthcare/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2014/02/V4120-SmartFridge1.jpg (104 kB) 3: A surgical instruments table: Also to add immersion to surgical rooms/tents and would also ideally be a container so that medics working on a patient could grab tools/supplies from the table while working on patients. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/be/Surgical_instruments_15.jpg (971 kB) 4: A Stretcher. This would be inside of a medical tent/surgical room or inside of the hospital. If you could make a few different versions of it, maybe one with someone sleeping, one with a bodybag on top, one that's empty but covered in blood, one that's got clean sheets on it, etc. http://www.hamptonrd.com/images/Pedigo/Stretcher/511%20Stretcher.jpg (2831 kB) 5: An IV stand with lots of monitors and bags of medicine/saline hooked up to it. https://jennaclanger.files.wordpress.com/2011/05/dsc013151.jpg (4300 kB) 6: A proper medical backpack, especially one that could possibly "deploy" and open up to see all of the cool gear inside of it: http://www.first-spear.com/images/D/FS_MedPack_9061%20copy.jpg (605 kB) 7: Lots of individual medical gear: Sterile Glove Boxes, Sterile Bandages, Splits, Wraps, Defibrillators, on and on and on, anything you can think of. Especially having clean and bloody versions of each would be AWESOME. If you can think of it, put it in there! https://evaq8.co.uk/images/P/blue_nitrile_gloves.jpg (192 kB) http://myhomemedsupplies.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/p/f/pf00060_pri01.png (419 kB) http://www.gohandh.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/CinchTight275.jpg (1192 kB) Ok, that's all I have for now. I'm sure I'll come up with a new idea soon. :) Again. thank you SO MUCH for doing these kinds of object packs. They are truly truly amazing and very much needed in the Arma 3 community. -
Awesome job mate! I love these kinds of mods that add more objects and immersion. Thanks! EDIT: I checked out your blog... is there any word on the warehouse objects mod? I'd love to have those as well!

Marine Expeditionary Force Mod
Vernei replied to Mattastic's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Hi Mattastic, thanks for the great mod. I use your uniform/vests/headgear for an amphibious assault Zeus game mode mission that is on the Imrali terrain. We launch from an LHD using AH-1Zs, UH-1Ns, AV-8Bs, LCACs, AAVs, HMMWVs, MRAPs, and LAVs. One things I'd love to see is if you could make a proper Marine Corps flight suit and crewman suit. I've looked and looked and looked and there just isn't a single Marine Corps flight suit modeled anywhere I can find, despite the fact that they are worn by aviators, maintenance personnel, infantrymen and armored crews. I would love to see this ingame: http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0065/2742/products/nomex_eb60149c-bc14-4ab4-ab22-333bda842218.jpg?v=1390592678 (111 kB) There are also green versions: The flight suits are very popular even outside of aviation due to their level of comfort. Thanks again for the great mod. USMC 0231 -
I'd rather you not cut it completely from the pack. Even if you decide to stop updating it, please leave it in there, even so we can use it as a prop. I keep it on my clan's flight training server and people like to play with it just simply cause its huge. Thanks for the mod btw.

Wow, really good terrain mate. Very high quality and high attention to detail. I would certainly put this on par with Bornholm, Imrali and Wake Island. Very high attention to detail. I'm glad you took liberties with the terrain and buildings to make it more Arma-friendly. Its more important to make a terrain that's *fun* to play than 100% real-world accurate. You seem to have done exactly that. I'm looking to make this into a spec-ops mission. Especially with extremely limited beaching areas for access from the water, this would make a great map for stealth missions. And how in the world did you keep this to only 75mb in size! Wow. Bravo.

Greetings Madbull, First off, this is truly an amazing script. The level of functionality, detail, and most of all, documentation you've placed in it is outstanding and should be revered by the community. I'd like to request some features for possible inclusion in the future. If these features are already in the script somewhere, I apologize in advance. My goal is to make a logistics specialist class/slot for a mission. The idea is that while all classes can load crates/barrels/etc into cargo containers and trucks, only the logistics specialist can load those cargo containers onto the logistics trucks like the HEMITT or in the case for my mission, a Tempest reskinned as a MAN truck. The idea is to simulate the requiring of a forklift to load cargo containers and the logistical knowledge to properly secure the load for transport. This would be truly great for convoy missions to resupply a remote village, and would also require the logistics specialist to travel with the convoy in order to unload the cargo container at the destination. A possible additional aspect to the logistics specialist role would be that perhaps he is the only one in the mission who can sling objects under helicopters. Could you provide something in the config file which would allow me to designate a unit's classname as a "logistics specialist" and then an area which contains classnames of objects that only they are able to move/transport/load into vehicles? A secondary request is the ability to designate load capacity for the lift-capable helicopters. In my mission I have a Merlin medium-lift transport helicopter and a Wildcat transport helicopter. Obviously the Merlin would be able to lift much more than the Wildcat, and I'd like the ability to set different load capacity values for different helicopters exactly like in the "can transport cargo" section. Obviously this would require the ability to set the cost capacity for items in the "can be lifted" section. Once again, you have an amazing script and I thank you very much for all of your effort and hard work you've placed into it.

This mod apparently is no longer supported. I tried using it today and it doesn't work at all. Scorch do you still support this mod and if so can you please try and give it an update?
-
Ewok, you have an amazing mod. Thank you so much for putting this kind of effort into realism. I love the fact that you added ambulances. Its often very difficult to find quality mods of support vehicles for Arma. Support vehicles can play an integral part of the game and add so much depth and variety to missions. With that, I have a few questions, some of which may have already been answered in this thread, if so, I apologize. 1) What is the difference between the two ambulances? One is called M997A2_Ambulance and the other is called M997A2_Ambulance_NBL. I can't for the life of me figure out the difference between the two. 2) Are you planning on adding woodland camo versions of all of these? The desert camo ones are top notch, and adding woodland versions of all of them would truly allow me to dump all other HMMWV mods and only use yours for all my maps. (The desert ones stick out like a sore thumb on Bornholm). 3) Why did you go with the Red Crystal on the Ambulances instead of the Red Cross like what is on the HMMWV Medevac? Are there any plans on adding Red Cross versions? 4) Any intention on making this standalone? Thanks again for all your hard work. You truly have an amazing mod and it adds a tremendous amount of depth and realism to my missions.

Burnes Armories Tanks and Deployment Vehicles
Vernei replied to a topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Karneck and/or Burnes, In this video, its obvious that the AAVs are amphibious and able to function both on land and in the water. I have the latest version of Burnes' AAV. The AAV preforms fine on land, but as soon as it enters the water, I am unable to control it in any way, it simply bobs up and down as its momentum carries it away from shore. Can you please explain to me how you were able to get full amphibious functionality? I am working on a game mode that combines the recently released LHD mod from ATLAS which is exceptionally high quality, and Burnes' LCAC and AAV mods. In the video you are using the LPD-29, which as I've mentioned in the past on this thread, causes LCACs to explode in the well deck when playing on a dedicated server. So far, in testing, the ATLAS LHD Mod hasn't encountered that issue, and it looks promising that I can finally incorporate Burnes' exceptional LCAC mod into a full multiplayer environment.
