yes indeed : ) credit goes to john spartan and saul though. Got the idea from their Su-35. It's one of the available skins there- added visible jet blast (no afterburner yet)

A few teasers of what is coming next version: new paint scheme, note the updated position of the wing tip missiles. another new paint scheme (inspired by the Su-35) painted wheels original green again... cockpit interior with blue tint 360° Camera view stabilised on both axis

thanks, ya I will probly go with green. Yes, They are supposed to be an energy weapon of sorts with a terribly annoying chirping sound when they're fired. I will make them rather weak but make up for it with speed, energy cell capacity and rate of fire : ) Also going to begin work on a heavy plasma lasgun thermo thingy this weekend and maybe think about how to exchange the vehicles weapons with energy beams

Thanks for the guide egg! @all Su-34 pilots: You can also switch to the gunners seat mid fight and lock on and fire if you're pro lol. Another possibility is to have an AI copilot. In that case manual fire lock on is enabled immediatly. Or simply command the Ai gunner to fire by himself with tab to lock on, LControl + LMouse to fire and LControl + F to switch weapons I made 2 ultra simple sample missions that will be attached next release (or visit my steam workshop) (thanks for the offer with the AB, would be awesome!) @Drakedaeron: The blue version you probably mean is a civilian plane. There is a black one too. There is an armed Su-34 Chernarussian version quite similar to Arma 2 OA, did you mean that? It's more or less the standard colors. If you don't like it why not use the the AAF or CSAT SU-32 armed versions (32 = export version)? They are AAF Camo or CSAT Camo. See the pics in first post... Also bottom of first page or the readme file has a guide how to change textures . )

No worries, just wasn't sure what you meant : ) if I manage to make a siren for my civilian units I would add the same to the UN policecar probly. Might take a while

UPDATE Okay I think I got it right now : ) Sukhoi Su-34 Version 0.55 BETA Changelog v 0.55 Beta: - Su-34 is no longer a ground target and can be locked on with AA Missiles - gunner/pilot sorted - gunner got all weapons except cannon - pilot can manual fire and lock on with the missiles if needed - laserbeam alignment fixed - added targeting test mini demo mission hope it works, I tested and it looked ok so far : )

too much? Reminds me of Far Cry Blood Dragon gun sounds like an angry cricket btw. found the sound in default arma animals folder : ) terribly annoying. The flying saucers will be completely silent. Actually they are already

yea afterburner. Thats a real toughy. Not so easy to make, even less to make well. If I put it in it won't be a matter of weeks but months probly. Also I am not really sure at this point. The laserpointer and the loadouts make it pretty powerful already. Maybe a reduced afterburner, as it is designed for low alt flight and can't reach the top speeds of the fighters. I am already deliberatly forcing people to slow down when using the pointer, so they make a better target : )

Whatya mean with "mine"? You can use it to make missions and put it in your Server etc. It is tradition to mention where you got it and who made it tho. also necessary because the other players have to get it too : )

thank you egg! It was lasertarget = true; Kinda odd, cause other planes have that value in their config and work fine. While I was at it I managed to fix the laserbeam alignment and switched all LGBs to the turrets control.

Guys, I think I messed something up. I am unable to lock on to the Su-34 from Wipeout or other SU-34s. Maybe other planes too. Can anyone confirm? PS: looks like I messed it up trying to make the Targeting device work. Right now it is handled as a ground target. I've uploaded an experimental build to my steam workshop. If someone could test and tell me if 1. you can lock onto the SU-34 from another plane 2. laserpointer works and can be locked from pilot That would be very helpful. You'd need 2 people to test the laserpointer thing properly I don't want to put it up here again and bother Armaholic/Six/Arma.de before it works : )

Looking good! I probably will adjust the flight model of the C-130 slightly next week. Make it roll a little less quick and try make it feel heavier. But no worries, just a tiny tiny bit : ) Also I'll clean up the interior. A small vehicle or some boxes should then be able to fit in the rear where there's no seats. If you have any suggestions just post somewhere I can see it : ) -

Lookin great!! Good job Chairborne. Yea I have a lot of fun with bomb proxies too. I played around a lot and now finally have some working layouts for my Su-34. But it still won't do exactly what I want : ) Would like to have a few empty proxies in my loadout mid wing but that just won't happen Also, great skins Kaz!
