I think I will change the name to dropship : ) size is actually causing some lag/stuttering. Have to think of some other way to add a mothership sometime. Would love to change the sky with another texture for instance or something like that

Buldozer may not work: Wrong or missing "Steam_appid.txt" yesterday it was all fine, then steam updated the tools now it's broken. Just sat down to make some content : S good timing tools Dev or tools standard, doesn't seem to matter *bandaid fix: i've unmapped A3 P drive and mapped the old A2 P instead. Now i can use oxygen /buldozer again, at least sort of -

Well that was actually not dumb at all : ) thank you. I overwrote the existing steam_appid.txt with the one from the A3 Folder. Works again!! Many thanks! I didn't think of something like that myself cause it worked for months till just earlier when it suddenly didn't anymore after steam updating hte tools : ) PS: yes exactly those numbers. 107410 in new file, 233800 in the file as of yesterday and before -
Thank you - I am sure the air force team will fix the errors as they are working on it. An AC-130 is a huge amount of work to get right so they will need some more time. For the time being I think I saw another AC-130 on armaholic. maybe have a look there till its fixed. Updating this and my other addons will keep me busy for a while : )

yes for zeus to work on a dedicated server it is different. on you local machine addon enabled zeus missions will simply add all active addons. An MP dedi server it won't work that way. There it is necessary to use the addon sync module: cheers

Heyas guys, great work all of you. I have made some observations regarding refueling and Probe-and-drogue vs Boom and receptacle: I am currently setting up my Su-34 for aerial refueling. So far I've learned that some scripts require a fuel_hose, some a fuel_probe. the refueling contraption I set up for the plane after studying RL Su-34 refueling. Probe-and-drogue style I believe When I only configure a fuel_hose all works fine, my plane gets it's fuel like this from your Stratotanker (pic taken 1 sec before connection) But then I won't be able to refuel from John/Sauls F-18s buddy pod. I have to set up a fuel_probe for that one. So I set up a fuel_probe too. Now with a probe I can refuel from the F-18 just fine (again 1-2 secs before initiating fuel transfer) but then if I try to refuel from the Stratotanker again it extends its winged refuel contraption (boom) which is used for planes not having a probe. same thing happens if I only have set up a fuel_probe and no fuel_hose at all Same is true for the F-18 I believe. Found this video on youtube. It's not a big deal, just wanted to share my observation. cheers

I can with AiA Terrain Pack and Chernarus Gnats script checks altitude and if the plane is above water or land. If the water on other maps is not set properly that might explain what you experience. Nothing that can be fixed from this addon though. The mapmakers/map pack conversion would have to configure their water properly I guess. Are you using any other addons? Try just using the map and the cessna without anything else -
Scripts are included. They consist of my old JATO scripts reworked + added sparkle and smoke effects where I took inspiration from Flannes Rato script / some particle scripts from the A3 core. No not planning to make another F-35. Afaik there are some and at least one F-37 in A3 already. Just search around. Airforce mod will have, while not a B, at least an A version sometime. And randomslap has a B in the works. Yes doors work too.

Thank you, forgot to mention it's fixed. I fell into the trap of not using the standard proxy method : ) Since I proxy the prob blur everything is fine!

Heya, I need help with my Prop Blur. Not sure what I am doing wrong but I have some weird transparency issues over water. Additionally, the rotor blur is invisible from behind the cockpit glass (selection is added to pilotview). Examples: weird effect over water, we can now see the bottom of the sea : O over land it seems fine.. rvmat i am using (default A2 ) ambient[]={1,1,1,1}; diffuse[]={1,1,1,1}; forcedDiffuse[]={0,0,0,0}; emmisive[]={0,0,0,1}; specular[]={0,0,0,0}; specularPower=0; PixelShaderID="Normal"; VertexShaderID="Basic"; class StageTI { texture="sab_c130\data\default_vehicle_ti_ca.tga"; }; Blur paa is the C-130 A2 blur. Same effect if I try to add rotor blur on my An-2 Help very much appreciated : D

Yea I would have to make a new key thingy because otherwise the server wouldn't know if you used the base addon or the plugin. Till I manage you can simply disable signatures on the server. If you play with friends cheating shouldn't be a prob.

Next update will have a refueling contraption. You will be able to refuel from the Airforce mods stratotanker and other planes using similar fuel_probe/hose scripting. Will work best with John Spartans planes as I will use the fuel_probe naming convention, Stratotanker will deploy it's Boom instead of the drogue but that works too. (drogue - probe / boom - receptacle) probe - drogue system well...not as intended but works too : ) Thanks to working on the camels I've finally managed to extract the info how to make a firing animation (found hte solution in the BIS A3 heli sample model : ) )

Thank you! There is a very good AC-130 in Fullerpjs Airforce mod + a few more C-130 version. So no I don't plan to make another one : ) This addon focuses on unconventional versions like the YMC-130, Floatplane or LC 130

Breaking News! A report for you from Altis News Reporter Giourkas Athanasiadis! Again a number of extra terrestrial individuals were caught near Stratis Airfield. AAF forces quickly responded, contained and ended the extra terrestrial madness. Their weapons were shipped to an UN base on Altis to study them. Later that evening a small invasion forces landed near the base to recover their weapons as humanity is not yet ready for such power. Walker Tank making short work of the operation as of now the senseless violence continues, stand by for further updates! Altis News out! PS: thanks all of you, actually had some time to update this and managed to get all things error free except for the tank. Lasers were brought to you courtesy of Abs. He helped me with the weapon config. I think I went a slightly different route with making the tracer a beam and not the firing animation, not sure :) Anyway it sort of works : ) Also ridiculously powerful Vehicle Melter Laser Beams

my first attempts didn't turn out like I wanted it to. not sure how to sort the ramp thing. What I mean is, not sure how it's done that people can walk in when it's open and can't walk in when it is closed. Will experiment some more sometime. and if you need a cargo variant without droptanks you can hide them like explained under first posts hint section (also in readme file)

Yea I will probably make a C-130 J with emptied interior and passenger count = 0 so you can pop some vehicles in there with some 3rd party scripts. Shouldn't be too hard. Probly in a week or two when I come around to this mod again : )

Yea a shootout between these and Bensons Zetaborn could be fun ; ) Probly won't do a lot new things this weekend. There is still a hell of a lot of errors popping up I need to get rid first. thanks bravo! Will do ____________ Still haunted by errors. Using the sample models but somehow I still have issues with weapon and turret entries . ) walker tanks (they dont actually walk but it looks creepy nonetheless) This little guy is the squad leader. He got tentacles for hands and he had all sorts of oxygen II accidents happen to him. So he and his friends are pretty upset. Invasion force getting ready this is going to be a totally low fi addon. Partly cause I don't feel like putting too much time into it - I don't have the skill or time to develop those skills. I don't really care : ) and partly cause it is a design decision. It's supposed to be a sort of hommage to old sci fi movies of questionable quality : )
