You need to sign into your Steam account and have it activated on there. If you purchased on the BI Store then you need to go to your products and redeem it on Steam. You will see on the Argo page in the Steam Library the DLC with a checkmark and the date added when completed.

Init: Spawn Troubleshooting on Editor Mode.
EagleByte replied to Lt. Netjak Stealth's topic in ARGO - SERVERS & ADMINISTRATION
You can put down any object (make it an ammo box so it resembles a place where someone would get ammo) and add the following to it's init field: 0 = ["AmmoboxInit",[this, true]] spawn BIS_fnc_arsenal;- 10 replies

Init: Spawn Troubleshooting on Editor Mode.
EagleByte replied to Lt. Netjak Stealth's topic in ARGO - SERVERS & ADMINISTRATION
You can create an easy spawn by setting the respawn settings to BASE and making an empty marker with the name of "respawn_west" for clouds and "respawn_east" for flames. If you need more details I can help further.- 10 replies

EagleByte replied to loowee's topic in ARGO - TROUBLESHOOTING
You need to forward the port that you are using (usually 2302). So you need to forward 2302-2305 for it to be seen by people outside your local network.- 1 reply

Welcome to Argo! Simply click one of the game modes on the right side of the main menu to find a match. If you don't know what the game modes are, open the field manual in the menu and read about how they work to understand.

Only the vehicles found in the editor are drivable (If you own the supporters pack). Hunters and other things that aren't placable in the editor aren't able to be driven.

At the moment there is no place designated to sharing scenarios made for Argo. However, feel free to make a dedicated forum post for it in the most appropriate forum category.

If you don't want to be considered a cheater, press "escape" and "commit suicide" when this happens to keep it fair for the other team and to avoid getting reported for exploiting a bug, which is exactly what you are doing.

Can't Find Normal Official Servers

All that means is that you lost connection to the server. Whether that was the servers fault or yours, not sure, but the official server uptime has been great. Therefore, I believe it is an issue with your connection. -
From our discussions in the Argo Discord server, we covered the following: The issue currently is the player base within the available servers. At any given time, there are only around 1-3 servers available for putting players into (per country location in each game type), so most of the time there is no choice but to put them together. You can see the current available servers for matching here: http://bit.ly/ArgoStatistics Example at peak time of activity: It doesn't entirely matter the matchmaking system (whether the current built in system or a custom launcher) if there isn't a large player base to choose from, it will always yield the same result. So until players increase, and therefore joinable servers increase (maybe 5-15 per location per game mode) the system doesn't have much to choose from. If there is only 1-3 servers to choose from, you will likely be matched with several people under level 10. The breakdown of players at each rank that have played over 5 matches total are below: |---------|-----------------| | Rank | % of Playerbase | |---------|-----------------| | 1 - 5 | 62.1% | | 5 - 10 | 30.8% | | 10 - 15 | 5.5% | | 15 - 20 | 1.3% | | 20 - 25 | 0.4% | |---------|-----------------| The combined percentage of players over level 10 is 7.2% of the entire player base. So if you join an empty lobby and 9 other people join, each time someone joins, there is less than a 10% chance the next person that joins is a level 10 or higher. Currently, at peak activity on official servers, there are ~650 players. During the lowest activity level times, ~350 players. So as you can tell from this data, both with the servers the matchmaking system has to choose from (within a reasonable location distance) and with the available servers in the game mode you are looking for (~1-3 at any given time), that puts you in an availability pool of around 30 players to choose from in 3 separate lobbies. And out of those 30 players, it is likely that over 60% of them are between level 1 and 5, and over 93% of them are under level 10, so only ~7% that will be level 10 or higher. In summary, there isn't enough of a player base on the servers at any given time (let alone in the location AND the game mode you want) to effectively match up players.

Are you logged in when you open the game or logged in as a guest? Are you using the quick play feature in the main menu or trying to open the server browser?

They disabled the joining of non-premium servers to funnel players into utilizing the quick play features which takes into account location, rank, etc. It is in no way a method to get people to purchase the supporter pack. The reason why Premium servers were left out of this change is because the developers "...believe supporters don't feel the need to grind on low-level players." Also, a word from the developers today:

In the few games I've played since the update, I've actually noticed less team killing, but I've only played clash so far. The developers are gathering data this weekend and will discuss and take action next week, so have a little patience.

There are 51 official servers online in Brazil with at least 1 joinable (more than 1 players but not full) in every game type. There are 76 players on those Brazil servers at the moment. Find more information here: http://bit.ly/ArgoStatistics or go to the server list and search for Brazil here: http://bit.ly/ArgoServerList It does, in fact, take ping (location) as well as the rank of the players into account. Although not working entirely as intended, it still works and will suffice until a patch can be released this following week. Just as the same with every other company out there, normal work hours are from Monday through Friday, and so expecting them to work on putting out a patch this weekend is not fair. There has been a very low population (non-existent for the most part) on the Premium servers for a while now, so that is old news. Maybe join a premium server in the server browser and see if people join you in a few minutes, as I am sure they will.

HUD Options ! White Crosshair
EagleByte replied to GhettoGrill's topic in ARGO - QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
I didn't play much of easy before the update, so I guess you are right there. Anyway, I have HUD enabled and it is not there for me at the moment and I don't see any option for it. But I wouldn't say it is a huge advantage or much at all. Hip firing is not really accurate.
