pssh my middle name is "slacker", come on now :lol:. That's why I never bothered to put stitching on my uniforms, kinda "iffy" about adding it to the pouches on the vest as well, I've tried a bunch of times but it never came out right. My agenda is getting an "overall" look more than a quality look to be honest, If people want to see Hi Res 4096x4096 texturing this is not the addon for you lol, I am modding this game on an 2011 iMac, the least of my concern making this addon is quality.........make way bitches the king needs to work

oh man,release? *whew....trying to put in an hour or two after work when I can. It was pretty discouraging a few weeks ago because I erased a bunch of assets and textures I did for my vests, especially the configs I re-did for them also which I forgot to backup. And with the events that happened today lol, all I can say is I'm trying but for some reason these obstacles keep popping up, I have quite a few PM's of people who are asking for content and assets I have modded (which I don't mind attending to) but that's just another thing added to the list of obstacles. I do like to help people when I can tho, that's more satisfying than modding for me at the moment, I dunno why... it just is lol. As for a release, I have no idea, I "had" a set date but thing's aren't just working out for me, not giving up tho, just gonna take a bit of my time to get it together. Just be a bit more patient...

this whole 2 months have been raining, it does snow here, on the mountain, "Mauna Kea". I can't handle the elevation or cold, so I don't really care for going there. But christmas here is pretty ordinary, like any ordinary american x-mas, it's not like we decorate the coconut trees here and have a special Luau. Anyway we're having some Prime rib, Crab,etc., so it's definitely x-mas for me :). Merry X-mas....

Well, It's my stupid fault for trying to redo my config in "bulk" instead of step by step, I just utterly confused myself in the process and that discouraged me to keep going. Thank you for your suggestion Thomas, it is very encouraging. For a little detail on what I confused myself with, is when I created new folders and tried to have uniforms/glasses/headwear/groups/weapons/etc. all in different folders not realizing I have to also rename all my paths to my p3ds and in the configs (a lot of shit to keep track of), that's one of the areas where my brain literally turned to mush, trying to keep track of all the path arrays in the config and hpp. *whew boy lol. Anyway I just need to step away for awhile, get my head together. yeh they're pretty strict about that....you could pm me next time I don't mind answering any questions.

well the news is I tried to "tidy" my config and try it the .hpp way....which eventually just confused me and halted the process of finishing the addon, my fault tho I should've just stayed on course......anyway my mind needs some recovering from that abomination, so an early release seem's unlikely (my bad :mellow:), I need a few more days to recuperate from this nightmare....

i posted some pics of a concept i was working on that resembled a pcu back a page if you missed it.....as for an "actual" modeled pcu? that would be dope.....I should get into modeling after this.....

i like the idea of having the pack as part of the vest, but yea i guess I'll just make it seperate than, thing is it won't have any straps lol, gotta use your imagination on that one..... edit: there may be straps, I have to see where the straps the backpack has on them are from, because it uses A3 textures and I don't want to use it if it's ripped from A3.....

Thanks for the input, I honestly don't know what the correct way is or how a radio like that operates in real life and just to clarify that's not where I "decided" to put the radio, I just transferred it from another vest from another authors vest onto mine thinking that was the proper way it should go......but we'll see what others say *shrugs edit: okay Nate just clarified for me, his words I can tolerate :)

I don't have a battle belt, just a holster that can be placed on the belt....

Vest is still a WIP, the stitching on the pouches came out horrible again so don't comment on that lol, my main goal was to get everything textured and all the maps made than I can really work on the vest, also i forgot to add the damn comms again, but like I mentioned a WIP. After I release this addon I'm planning on keep making shit and adding it to the addon, I've always wanted a "winter" outfit for the Rangers too, so I've been working on that here and there but here's a little concept I put together.....

it's all good with me, i get to see what I'm missing out on even tho it sounds all negative, still keeps me informed.... edit: *whew that video tho, I'd hate to be the guy on the bad end of that weapon......
