Ok how to give this script a sleep timer in SP so that it shows the icons on the map for about 5 seconds so that its not totally spoon feeding but just making you aware about the enemy's position. To avoid wasting a major chunk of time searching throughout the map. Also is there a way to highlight a block of grid instead where the enemies are, and with a sleep timer as explained above?

What is selected under "set task state" in side the create task module? Anyway, I believe best is to take a screenshot and show us here. And regarding your query about "My question is have BI changed the way task modules work?" I wont be sure on that. But I too have experience really annoying bugs when working with tasks "if" I wanted them to start since the start. I would still suggest my approach which I mentioned in the old post: What that did was after about 4-5 seconds (as that was my trigger's time) the tasks which I needed to be created or assigned popped up right away. :)

I am sorry but AI group leader will respond the way he deems fit, sadly in your case. Your best bet is to be the sole leader for 'n' number of playable units. Categorize them as Team Red, Green, etc. Order team wise. That way, you will still be able to switch units and give out orders team-wise rather than complete squad wise . Hope this will serve your purpose, in sha Allah :D

Although DAC devs maybe able to better solve this, still I will try as I am a huge fan of DAC and use it quite often. 1. I do not believe DAC causes any conflict with the AI's behaviour while in combat. You should be ok with FFSI. 2. I was in your shoes some months back and spent a great amount of time make it to work. Now I am enjoying with HETMAN. Here try it. Best thing is I have combined DAC (to spawn stuff), HETMAN (to give orders to AI and yourself), and ASR AI3 to control AI's combat behaviour. A killer combo to be honest. Feel free to contact me if you need help setting this up. in sha Allah I will help. :) 3. Yes I believe so. As all the buildings are classified under headings like Civil, Military etc (while you make maps). And DAC does have an option which allows its spawned units to patrol in nearby buildings (Go through the read me's "Chapter 20 The config files". One of the best tutorials ever, Masha Allah. And then manipulate "DAC_Config_Behaviour.sqf" file under the DAC Config folder. By default, it has building patrol turned on I guess). Through my limited technical knowledge, I am sure a fantastic piece of art like DAC automatically determines these buildings and takes care of it. Hope this helps man. Peace :D

For your issue, all the "Create Tasks" modules (Oh also name them properly like tsk1, tsk2, tsk3... and so on) set to "Created" (As you just want them created and not auto assigned) need to be synced with just 1 thing: "Set Task State" module with "succeeded" selected. And that "Set Task State" module need to be synced to its respective trigger which will decide if task is completed. Do not sync this trigger with anything else. And now since there is an option to choose the side which gets the objective from within the module, you dont need to sync it with player also. Even if this doesnt work, the best work around which worked for me was setting a trigger with enough radius to cover you on your spawn spot with a countdown 3-5 seconds, activated by your presence "once", and place it right on your self in the editor. Sync this trigger with all the "Create Tasks" modules which we made earlier. I suggest you use HETMAN and put its triggers on your objective spots. That is the best option for SP imho. Here it is. :D I used to use a lot of my brain's precious juices on making SP missions, but HETMAN type of generators make stuff easy. :P Made by the same who designed the MANW contest SP runner-up "Pilgrimage". He is blessed with great skills Masha Allah :) Hope this helps :D

I, like anyone else, greatly enjoyed playing with ALive. But I am a pure Single Person man. And I know very well that a myriad times people whine about SP save. But honestly that would be the biggest deal missing from Alive. I am a huge fan of your addon, no doubt. And I want to enjoy one mission for days you know. Perpetuality through normal SP save and not persistence. Anyway, myself along with many others (I know there is a huge community) will wait for a possible work around by the Alive devs to incorporate SP save. It just feels strange to see every other battle generators capable to spawning hundreds of AI and execute complex tasks beautifully allowing SP saves with flawless load option. If I manually save with Alive it hangs, and when I force close the process and see the save file size, its around 600-700 MBs :blink: (WOW!) Honestly, games for me should be fun. Alive is a blessing for MP lovers who have good friends/team mates to coordinate the mission with. Where I live, people are into plain stuff like GTA and not Arma 3. So its tough to come across people who would know how milsim works. I spent 2 days on making the mission I am playing these days ( And it feels every way like ALive with logistics, auto objectives etc). But honestly setting up servers or even using the internet for "save" option is too much. Internet speeds here dont help either. Well anyway, I hope you guys take my review in right spirit. We just wish for an Alive SP save version. Thank you. :D
