Just curious, but was the headgear supposed to be removed from the pack? I noticed its gone in arsenal and I didn't see it listed in your change log.

Another update, we have restructured the unit a bit, so that we have a infantry section, aviation section, and a rescue squadron. Like this, what faction we play as is mission dependent, so we aren't limited to just army and the such. Also, we are still looking for pilots, and if you have an questions message me with them. Hope to see you soon. Capt Loper Task Force Commander Joint Task Force Talon

Joint task Force Talon (NA/EU) WHO ARE WE? JTF-Talon is a realism MILsim unit comprised of an Infantry Section, an Aviation Section, and a Rescue Squadron. As a very small Task Force the entire unit is a very tight knit group who always help and look out for each other. We are all very skilled individuals who maintain our own training while training others. Some of us in the unit are either currently active duty or plan on joining the Armed Forces soon. WHAT DO WE OFFER? + Tactical military sim realism. + Multiple units inside the task force to join. + Modpacks + TeamSpeak 3 Server + Website + US Military Rank and Structure WHAT UNITS DO WE HAVE? + Infantry Section + Aviation Section + 48th Rescue Squadron OUR ENLISTMENT REQUIREMENTS. + At least 16 years of Age. + Must have TeamSpeak 3: ts.jtf-talon.com + Must have Arma 3 + Must be active + Be able to take jokes. (You want the military experience you have to take jokes) If you are interested head on over to our website: www.jtf-talon.com/forums and fill out an application. *URGENT* Currently our unit is at a low with pilots, so if you are interested in piloting in a unit, whether it be fixed wing or rotary, we are currently allowing recruits to go straight into Rotary or Fixed Wing pilot slot straight in. If you would like to get in on this, contact me now as this will only be held for a short amount of time. PM me if you would like to talk more. Hope to hear from you soon. I've copied everything into the new mission folder minus the old mission.sqm of course.. Enemies spawn, IEDs spawn, and even hideouts spawn, but no ACE interaction options added by your mission.
-
Running these on my unit's dedicated and we get stuck at the black loading screen immediately after spawning..Can hear ourselves moving, but the screen stays black.. Any idea why?
-
I am trying to port this over to other maps like I have in the past, but since the eden update when I port it over none of the ACE interations work anymore. I can't interact with civilians, search for intel, call side missions, etc. Any idea why this is happening?
-
I am unable to pick these up when used on a dedicated server. Any clue as to why?

We have picked up more new recruits over the past couple of weeks and now have almost 2 full PJ teams ready for missions. That being said, we are still looking for more PJs and aircrews for our Pavehawks, so if you're interested visit our website at http://www.563d-arma.com or add me on steam: majorloper. To add to this, we have also started our main campaign in Clafghan, and have already gotten through two Operations, with our third coming up this Saturday(21MAR2015). This mission is also a landmark for the 563d as it is our first joint OP. Get in now and you're training can be completed in time for you to take part. I hope to hear from some new people soon! 563d Rescue Group Hello there, I am Captain Loper from a new up and coming unit, the 563d Rescue Group. We are a group that simulates a US Air Force Pararescue(PJ) unit. We are not super strict, but we expect our members to respect those that are of a higher rank than them when in game, teamspeak and on the forums. Other than that, we are a very relaxed, but small unit and that is why I am here, we would like to expand. Our forums are our main way of communication aside from teamspeak, to access them go here: http://www.563d-arma.com/forums We have two inner sub units which split our PJs from our pilots. These are the 48th Rescue Squadron(PJs) and the 55th Rescue Squadron(HH-60 Pilots/Crew) Currently we are accepting applications for: 2 PJ slots 1 HH-60 Pilot slot 1 HH-60 Co-Pilot Slot 1 Flight Engineer slots(Doorgunners) 2 Crew Chief Slots Those are currently the only open slots that we have, but if there is enough interest, more will open in the future. If you would like to apply head to our forums linked above and fill out an application in the application section. Once that is filled out just wait for a response to your newly created thread. This could take anywhere from an hour to a couple of days, usually the shortest amount of time as I check the forums quite frequently. If you have any questions feel free to add me on steam (majorloper) and I will try my best to answer anything I can, or connect to our teamspeak at: 74.91.120.184 and look for me if I am on. If I am, even if its in an afk channel, just poke me and I will be more than happy to help you by answering any and all questions, granted I am actually at my PC. If I am not, send me a private message with a way to contact you and any questions you have and I will be sure to get back to you in a timely manner. Just curious, but for your command line on your server you posted there is a space in the allinarmaterrainpack right after the c at the end. If that is in there when you're launching the server that could cause issues.

Authentic Gameplay Modification
loper replied to koffeinflummi's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
I'm pretty sure that's on purpose so that you don't know what's hurt until you diagnose yourself instead of knowing exactly what to bandage just by opening the menu. -
We are still looking to fill the slots in the first post, and it has been updated to reflect the slots that have been filled. Once our slots have been filled we will be able to start running our full missions and even offer our services to other units. I hope to see some new faces soon so if you're interested just contact me in the ways listen above or just fill out an application. Captain Loper 563d Rescue Group 48th RS Commanding Officer

Player looking for squad (not for squads to post looking for players!)
loper replied to Placebo's topic in ARMA 3 - SQUADS AND FANPAGES
I think this is the right place to post this, and if not, mods please move it to where it should be. I am not looking for a unit/squad exactly, but I am looking for players to help create one.(I have the basis for a PMC unit already) I have the server taken care of, and some documentation related to training and such already written up. What I am looking for is a group of people or just one or two people who are interested in getting together with me and helping out. If you are interested, pm me on the forums here, add me on steam and message me : majorloper , or join my teamspeak which I am always almost on : psc.servegame.com -
Update 16 MAR 2014 Big news! the 23rd Air Assault will no longer be an ArmA 2 Air Assault unit. We are changing our footing a little and switching to an ArmA 3 based Pararescue Unit. Our name is also changing from the 23rd Air Assault Division to the 563d Rescue Group. That means this thread is no longer going to be updated so if you see this and are interested, keep an eye in the ArmA 3 forums for our new recruitment post. You can still contact me in the same ways stated above aswell if you have any questions about the unit change, minus the website because that will all be changing aswell. Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from any potential recruits soon. 1st Lt Loper, 563d RG

The 23RD AA or 23RD Air Assault Division is a milsim unit that is based roughly off of the real U.S. Army Air Assault community. We are a community that welcomes players from all around the world and will not turn any member down due to nationality. We have spent alot of time as a unit researching the real life trainings that these units do and adapting them into ArmA 2. Each unit within 23RD AA MilSim has its own rigouriously run and set-up training courses from infantry schools to flight schools. We play ArmA2 Combined Operations. Which means you will need either ArmA 2 and Operation Arrowhead together or the ArmA 2 CO bundle. Whilst not a requirement we do recommend the BAF and PMC DLC's. Before playing on our servers you will be required to download our modpack through Playwithsix/SixUpdater. Ontop of this you will need to have ACE2 and ACRE. A willingness to use these mods and learn them is neccessary. If you meet these requirements either head to our website below or read on for more information as to what we do. http://forums.23rd-aa.org/ Once you put in your application you will be handled by our recruiting team where our recruiters will take you through the application phase to make sure that you are definately ready to join our unit. The recruitment process includes: - Gaming Sessions - Interview - Board Review For the application phase you conduct one gaming sessions on our public server with one of the recruiters who will be assessing your attitude, gaming style and skills once that is complete you will be interviewed by your recruiter and later a board review will be conducted and Command Staff will then decide whether to deny or accept your application. If accepted you will be transfered to TRADOC where you will become a recruit in our Basic Combat Training cycle. We run these cycles generally every month and it lasts one week of classes, one week for make-ups and then you graduate on the second Saturday. The training consists of three practical sessions covering everything from basic radio useage up to infantry skills in vehicles, on open terrain and in urban areas. Day 1 - Tools of an infantryman, Navigation and Radio Communication Day 2 - Convoy and Weapons Training Day 3 - Basic Infantry and Urban Operations Please note this is a comprehensive course to bring players of all skill levels up to the same high standard that we expect. Once you graduate you get to go into one of our two units. The 327th Infantry Regiment or the Combat Aviation Brigade. Making up the 23RD AA we have 2 Units: - 327th Infantry Regiment - Combat Aviation Brigade Each of these units follow the U.S. Army command structure and rank system. The 327th is just a regular infantry unit but the CAB consists of two inner units. These are the 23rd Aviation Regiment, which are the Blackhawks, and the 17th Calvary, which are the Kiowa Pilots. We have multiple roles from your basic rifleman to your transport and even CAS pilots. No matter who you are we should have a position for you. What will you do?
