    Disabled ACE and save/restart works ok.....so far. I always try ACE after an updated release because I like the medical system. However, as hard as they work on this mod it seems to have ongoing issues. Does anyone know of a solid med mod that works, similar to ACE?

    ...same here. ...Any change in vehicle seating position will eject you. ...While in a vehicle and trying to access inventory, via the scroll menu, I am ejected. Accessing inventory via shortcut (lmb) works ok. ...I can aslo verify that ejecting at any speed, does not result in injury or death. ...climbing works fantastic. walls and fences are no longer obstacles. Does AI have the climb feature, if not, can they? I haven't seen them climb recently but I thought they did in the past. Not sure if it was your mod that allowed them to do so. Was along time ago. ...hopping down from a height of around 8' or less, is doable. No injuries or death.\ Oh... I have disable your "use" key.

    idea After a while when we loot the dead enemy, we start to get the sense that we are out gathering stuff to stock a warehouse. 1) could it be that once an enemy is dead, his weapons might or might not be damaged beyond use. Insert a probability in the UI options?. I like that you already have the ammo turned down on dead bodies. 2) when selling loot, lower the cash amount so you really have to be careful. (where you can hitchhike or repair equipment. Can only sell at designated locations, i.e: gas stations, ATM's, General Stores, etc 3) when refueling, add a cost to this task. (some gas stations may be out of fuel. If so, scroll a text telling us, Sorry we are closed, or something similar.) 4) when repairing vehicles, this can only be done at a service station, and it will cost you, (cost already featured in this mod) 5) this may sound a bit over the top. If you spot a "friendly" vehicle, trigger a nearby garrison (foot patrol) to start heading in the direction of that vehicle to sabotage it. This forces the player to act quickly to take control of it. 6) if a helicopter is alerted, make any vehicle that you are in possession of vulnerable, unless you are, shall we say 250m (?) from it. 7) weapons never jam or become unusable? is there such a mod that we could just add to the mission? 8) is it possible to add food and water, make the player needy? 9) is it possible to add a time of year to the UI? seems rather trivial but gives the game a little atmosphere change up.

    A long time out and suffering a few issues

    I might direct you to a great mission/mod called Pilgrimage. https://forums.bistudio.com/topic/163307-sp-pilgrimage/ ...It has a combination of playability that is entirely up to the user to choose. i.e: level of difficulty, level of complexity, and level of involvement. It was made primarily for SP but he has put out a Coop version which we play all the time. The latter has a couple of bugs which we work around so if you have questions, just holler. Don't mean to stear from the original subject but just wanted to help the OP enjoy Arma.

    I just installed a fresh W7 and tested the blastcore mod a couple of days ago. With Blascore, my smoke grenades are very small dense balls measuring about what would appear to be 4' round if in real life. Is anyone else having issues with campfire smoke not showing?     ...Seriously though I would suggest that if you get injured to the point of moaning and grunting in pain, you, theoretically should finally sucomb to your injuries unless you get help someway, instead of simply being "injured"....... forever. While I appreciate the work involved, in this case it takes away from the "simulation" aspect and creates an "easy way out". Of coarse as Ryd has eluded to, this isn't a survival style mission, so this topic might be mute. My $0.02 on the realistic aspect of the game. @Ryd Just a little bug for you to squash. We're not seeing smoke from the hideouts. (Latest BI update breakage?)
  11. It's been a while since I did any PO's because I couldn't get the ojectives to show up on the map after launching. When I read that a new version was coming down the pike I thought I would just be patient and wait. I really miss it and thought I might as well ask for help while I wait, so here's asking. Thanks a lot. @Blackheart_Six Howdy....I see you play alone but I'm interested in how you "edit" your mission, and would you be interested in playing just a two player coop. The reason I ask is because the default missions seem quite overwhelming in terms of enemy and enemy vehicles if I play alone or with one or two others. I know the description states that it is meant for larger groups of players and that's why I'm interested in what, and how you are editing your missions. Thanks for your feedback! PS: I live right next door in the KY....ya'll :P

    @Ryd' I am in the process of getting the Ironfront mod working (shazam that's harder than it looks !) Do you know if those maps would be a good option. Certainly would be a totally new experience.
  14. As the title suggests. My buddy and I were trying to trap a Gorgon in a small town so we were scrambling to lay mines on the roads. It seemed when the gorgon or any other vehicle got close, it would steer clear, even turn and drive into a wall to get around. Is this a coincidence? How can I camouflage if that's what's needed? Thanks. edit A quick test in the Editor and the vehicle drives right over it, np Hmm

  17. @ HeroesandvillainsOS ...if you go to the first post made in this thread and open the spoiler you will find all the information needed to properly use TPW. SP and MP compatabilities and so on. and ...under the heading "configuration" you can follow a link to make use of a handy UI created by Gliptal for controling multiple user configs.

    I really don't want to put a damper on your hard work concerning the Bornholm project but... Every time I play on this terrain I find the fps quite low, for the most part. I like the feel and it has an impressive size to create a great mission but I wouldn't want you to spend a huge amount of energy in vain. I just wonder if the creator of this terrain still needs to optimize it....more....better....if it's possible. Chernarus could be a better option. I hope I don't offend anyone :mellow:
  19. ...Not only that but I have also noticed a fps "steadyness" throughout the map since 1.52. Previously my fps would tend to drop considerably, anywhere from Pergos, east, along the main (orange) highway. Much improved.
  20. ...That's it ! It's nobodies fault perse. B.I. bores out the block for better performance and modders have to fit in remachined pistons, cam, and lifters. Seems to be just the way of the world. I hope all the talented modders just shrug and accept this as another day in the office, and keep up the good work.

    to add ....every now and then you will get a phone call offering intel about enemy presence or abandoned vehicles. Both are for sale. ....Sometimes hunting down a group of patrols may seem like you are just out looking for trouble, which is quite fun I must say, but there are times when you can find useful intel and even money in their pockets. ....If you get the better of a patrol unit and one of them surrenders, you can also interigate him. After you find out whether he knows anything or not you can decide to let him go or execute him. This is probably pretty basic knowledge but I tell this because you may not be aware that if you let them go, your reputation could go up, but if you kill everyone mercilessly, your reputation goes to the dogs, and I heard that civilians can take up arms and come after you. ....I kinda forgot about the fathers invention. Is that something that can actually be found or is that just part of the story?
  23. For players particularly those that might find it difficult to navigate and edit config files I suggest downloading a User Interface made by "Gliptal". The advantages are, an easy to use options selection AND a profile menu for adjusting your TPW to best fit your different missions. You can find it here... https://github.com/Gliptal/TPW-Settings @Pulster ...Here is what I have been noticing with TPW, it seems If you start a mission with a certain set up in TPW, that is what you will end up with throughout the mission, no matter ir you make changes. So say you tick the box to enable aircraft and decide you don't like them after all, so then you quit Arma, untick aircraft and con't your mission, you still will continue to see/hear the ambient TPW aircraft. This may or may not be happening for everyone but it is for me.

    Playing this on Altis just never gets old, but creating the same mission on other terrains is "icing on the game"! I've done a little map making in the past so if you need a little help placing objects (chapels) I certainly don't mind doing some of the scenery design. I also would like to suggest adding a little survival feature such as water and food intake to mimic slight suffering in a hostile environment. In the end however, improving and expanding this mission is always much appreciated. Thanks and loooking forward to testing.

    I'd love to be able to hop up on a tank to have a looksee when on flat terrain! :P
