Sorry but I dont believe nothing of your history, sound like "horror" history for kids. I see in this debate newbies "parachuting" in this thread speaking about the "armaggedon"... Ok lets check your history. In the sims racing theres very few game that have a "huge" mod scene in the last years. None of this mod can be "monetized" mainly because they are using pro-cars - or copyrighted content- in his mods but even with that there's only two big scenes with this amount of mods: RFACTOR scene: Completely active today Race07 scene: With mods this year but abandoned because the main sim now isn't updated and the company was shut down. None of two scene was monetized ever. Can you give me more "facts" about your "history" to prove this "incredible history"?

I believe that you think that here are a bunch of idiots. What proves illustrate you point with inaccurate - maybe - false facts? that you are try to illustrate your "ideas" using something. In the same sentece you are using "Nazi Germans", "Donal Trump and monetized mods... For the next time I suggest all of you can use another topics: "N.W.O", "llluminatis","Snake man".. etc.. And what is this? What bad sides? the modders can earn some of the money?, bis can earn money too?, the modders can be pro's? I think this apocaliptical rethoric is very funny but no real.

This is a clear proof of your arrogance: thinking about the cooperation based in money "damage" something. Your personal opinion is not mine or everyone's opinion. And what's the point to tell us your problem about the monetize your created content? all the software companies has the same problem and dont see no one using this like a ghost in the closet. If someone wants to sell something created by him and he has a valid license there's no problem, this nonsense is only related with BIS license that all, if you buy a license in a MS VSTUDIO - or professional software - there no troubles to sell software created using this tool. To me this debate is turning in a tool to persuade people about the "horrible","evil","horror", about selling mods.

I think that some people in this forum believes that they have a moral superiority - based in arrogance - to say to everyone what is good to everyone. Nobody force to anyone to sell nothing, the debate is about the right to sell his creation like a modder and gain professional respect with that.

To me LJ mod is ever the only choice. This has not only the correct sound, volume etc. even has the gaming idea of the "punch" of a weapon. Sadly right now the game has the same weapon sound that a poor youtube video and the weapons has no "feeling". -

Without OOP you are using only the 50% of the SQF - or even more - but dont listen to me and live you life as you want. Wait a minute are you insulting me because you are asking help about a command that need learn the basic of the OOP to understand how to work? Asking the rights of the worker class is "crabby"? Asking the right of ask money for a work is a nonsense? The real problem is inside the modder scene is full of people that dont have a idea that means work with software.

Do read the previous post? I think the point of the debate right is: can the mods get money for his creations? But as usually in this forum the "toxic" comment appears entering in a personal way. Get lost. Back on topic: Right now we have a "wolderful world" of rat kids that believe that all the addons in this world are free - even the DLC - because important industry lobbiers make a great campaing to avoid that the modders can't make money for his "work". I read in this forum explanations like this is a "hobby", or the modders can't ask money for a mod.. and other interested opinions based in the idea that a modder is like a "dog" that can live with "bones". Seeing a entire scene of modders with proffesional skils - see FFAA, or RHS- that cant get money for his work is a complete nonsense. Right now a lot games support the game content provided for modders inside the game - Warframe, Killing floor, etc -, BIS can choose that way or other, but hide the modders from the society like a new form of "slavery" isnt the right way of the XXI.

If there's no money involved you cant afford a layer and dont make a sue to protect your own assets. No money in mods, no professional acknowledge, no rights, no nothing. Instead insulting people or treating people to avoid this debate I suggest to the "toxic" modders in this forum came to the real world and I think if they want belongs to the real society and leave the fairy world.

Off topic: Right now the Enfusion Engine is an active development phase - I think this engine will be the next main BIS engine - and Arma 4 needs 2 years minimum to make the assets plus one year of programming, unless BIS using "magic" have finished in this timeframe I cant see Arma 4 to the 2019-2020. Excesive CPU consumption: suddenly the editor has give me an abnormal cpu consumption related to the all cores ( 8320FX amd) and a total CPU consumption of 10-12% doing nothing with 2 mission file opens. Is this normal? because I think very rare.- 206 replies

I think all depends of the day time. You need to live in a country with "real" sun - like Altis, Stratis island - the sun is exactly like in the picture. I see a great improvement exactly like as is it right now, 50%+50% is a horrible idea. Great job bis_iceman! -
