  1. Been away for a bit but started the Win Campaign today and I can't see any active tasks on screen or in the map. Is this a known issue or was "set as active task" thing removed? Pretty much impossible to play since I don't know where to go.
  2. Sickboy you're right I don't see how there could be more than one folder with the same name. And yes I meant in my Arma3 core folder. Maybe there was a small difference in the text which resulted in creating a new one when I converted it with SIX. Anyhow it's working now so thank you for the reply. I really like what you have done with this SW. Very very nice and easy to use. On that note, I tried PM'ing you about something but seems you do not accept them so I'll post it here. I don't know the logistics of the software you created but it has sparked some ideas for me. I see atm you support Bohemia titles. But, what are the chances of expanding to more games? I'm also a PC sim racer and rFactor2 mods are similar to how Arma3 is, originally. Very time consuming and difficult to keep all your mods up to date as it requires 100% manual effort. But not with your software. So what I'm wondering is, what are the chances of supporting other games such as rFactor2? It would be HUGE for the community and also give more exposure to you and your software. Let me know your thoughts! Feel free to PM me. Thank you for reading. :)
  3. Found a big issue with Attention Deficit mission. So I entered through the east side, went up the hill and cleared out the small camp. Found a Strider, loaded it up with some extra stuff and hit the roads. From there on every enemy I encountered was oblivious to me as long as I was in the truck. It was like running over sitting ducks. They seemed alerted but not one fired a single shot. Regardless it was pretty fun running people over but as a result there was no challenge. I agree with the post above the Scouting missions are awesome! It adds so much dynamics to the campaign and lengthens it quite a bit. I'm a sucker for "side quests". More of that free roamy stuff please!
  4. So I ended up installing this software and can see the ease of use and advantages it has. I do have a few questions though. I have a number of existing mods which are installed directly in the root game folder. So I changed game directory and mod install directory to the arma3 root folder (steamapps\common\arma3) instead of c:\documents\arma3 correct? The problem I have is while pw6 recognizes all the mods I have, it doesn't see them as installed through the six launcher. So, I chose "Diagnose" and it seems to update the folder with the syncq info and shows it as installed. Problem I found is now I have 2 of the same mod installed. The ones installed through six are all lowercased where as my pre-existing ones have the same name with a capital letter. What is the best way to go about this (syncing up six with already installed mods)? Thanks!

    New take on Arma's keyboard control......

    Best change I've found is if you have a gaming mouse with extra buttons, add mouse 4 to free look; hold and toggle (2X mouse 4), and world map open/close on mouse 5. It makes movement and awareness so much better and both are accessible with your thumb.

    Hi I purchased into the bundle and selected the gift option. What I wanted to do was gift the Arma2/OA to a friend to get him into ARMA since I already have them. Is it possible, or when I redeem them I will have redeemed them all? Thanks for any help.

    Well I already purchased it, and as gift option. I can redeem it myself I think but what I want to know is if each title can be separated. So your saying I can redeem the "bundle", and I will receive separate steam keys for each game? So I can just send him the ones for Arma? That would be perfect. I'm worried if I redeem it they will all be added to my Steam account automatically, which I do not want since I already own some of the content and the duplicates would go wasted.
  11. Do mods needed to be added separately here? As in addons on Steam Workshop may not be found on Six? Also if I download a mission from Six that requires addons, will it automatically download them too? That would be a big selling point for me, since now I usually skip addons that require a list of other required mods simply because I just don't feel like looking for them all! Thanks.

    In options (difficulty?) you need to enable unlimited save. It defaults to off now.

    J.S.R.S. 2.2 Soundmod

    Wow man this mod is just viscous. It adds so much immersion to the game it's incredible. I'm a little scared to play the game in first person now, probably gonna have nightmares.
  14. Nice so I must be noticing something legit. I went to Dev build this time from campaign release though so I missed a few in between which makes it hard to narrow down where this fix happened. Do you know which build it was?
  15. I don't know what you guys did but the game feels so much more fluid lately. I just recently switched to the dev build again since the campaign release and things are feeling great. Was there anything in particular?
  16. Do you mean after deploying an explosive? I was wondering that, if you can pick it back up. You should be able to at least.

    Great update with the v2 loving the 30mm cannon rounds it sounds just like the youtube videos of gunships taking out insurgents. Awesome job man, looking forward to more progress. Just wanted to say thanks. PS: How are we to know when updates are released for mods? Is there any sort of self-updater? I would hate to be playing with outdated mods!

    Blood Mist

    Thanks I do have that mod but not crazy about some of the sounds. I didn't know those effects were from the sound mod (who would've thought?) but I do remember the red chunky triangle things. Not sure I like it very much though, plus I think it hinders performance since there seems to be no limit on the particles it will probably eat all available memory. I see people were complaining about FPS issues with this mod and currently I have it disabled myself. In any case I posted in that thread to find out more info on what else it changes unrelated to sound. I don't understand why those effects be part of a sound mod? Some changes I may like and since it's modular I would like to know more details. I like how in Arma 2 there is a low and high blood setting. Seems Arma3 got locked onto low. Did BIS think the game was too violent?? Makes no sense to me.

    So I've experimented with this mod and it has it's ups and downs. Some gun sound effects are good while others sound strange, from certain angles or distances. I have noticed some other effects which seem completely unrelated to sound at all. Can anyone provide more details about this mod and what else it changes that is not related to sound? I think I noticed more smoke which is welcomed and chunky red triangles flying off people's bodies. Am I close?

    Blood Mist

    In my opinion the original blood effects need work. I really hope to see an update of some sort or even just a High option. I love the idea of this mod but hoping we can step it up from here and add more blood effects in game or tweak the mist as others have mentioned. Some blood spatter on walls or puddles on ground would be amazing. I can only hope this gets updated whether it be from BIS directly or someone from the community. Why in Arma3 did BIS de-tune the blood effects? The game is rated Mature 17+ so why the need to be so PG-13 here? I wouldn't argue against dismemberment either with grenades and what not. TBH it really should be in game at this point as long as there's an option to turn it off why not. It really adds to the realism and immersion and fear/suspense of staying alive.
