I think you should at the very least PM one of the Devs and have a relaxed chat about the specific requirements for the job. BIS are undoubtedly familiar with your work and well aware you have a lot of fans in the ARMA community. This is just my humble opinion and I won't be offended if you tell me to mind my own business, but I truly believe a person of your ability would be a perfect fit for the job. -

Phenomenal job with those loopholes Opteryx, the bricks on the floor add another level of realism. This is going to be the Holy Grail of urban maps. -

Orshanets terrain 12.8x12.8km (Ukraine)
Takoda replied to Shelestov's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Looks amazing, great work. I've spent many hours playing with the Unnamed Terrain map, it's often impossible to spot the enemy when they are in the vegetation, grenades are my best friend on this map. The map feels very realistic, looking forward to playing on Orshanets terrain. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTWAwSHvRPo -

Opteryx I have a friendly suggestion regarding the map, I'm not sure how difficult this would be to achieve but I will put it forward anyway. One of my favourite features about VBS3 is buildings with loopholes, perhaps you could consider adding this feature to some Al Kut buildings and walls. https://manuals.bisimulations.com/vbs3/3-6/manuals/Content/User_Manual/Adv_Features_Infantry_Loophole.htm -

I'm confident Al Kut will fast become the most popular ARMA3 map. Please keep us updated with pictures because it will be exciting to watch this map develop, gives us something really nice to look forward to. -

This is exactly how I feel. After watching the VBS3 dismemberment scene I'm certain that kind of realistic wounding would evoke a feeling of fear and blur the line between the physical world and the digital simulated world, I know I would be finding cover damn quick if I witnessed it happening to a team member. -

Those interiors will be ideal for CQB principles and tactical concepts, I think adding furniture might make it difficult for AI to navigate so it's probably best to keep them empty. -

Magnificent work. Please keep us updated with your progress, no doubt some glorious maps will emerge thanks to your talent and effort. Personally I am looking forward to your mod above all others as I have a penchant for urban combat scenarios. -

This hasn't been the case for me. In Vanilla Arma3 I found that the ragdoll would often fall into this common pose where both the knees were up in the air and the upper body was twisted to one side, for example I could shoot a dozen guys from in front and they would all fall into the exact same pose, and they would often fall into this exact same pose even if they were blown down by an explosion. It was really annoying seeing this same ragdoll pose over and over. I will try and post some videos soon to highlight the differences. -

I cannot emphasise enough how thrilled I am about the improved ragdoll physics. Thankyou so much for all your hours of hard work and dedication guys, I truly appreciate your effort. -
Thanks a million zooloo. Yeah mate all these videos were captured when the Ragdoll'd mod was active. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YaT5WBMDeQo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaIzldIeYEA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nw7Xiw5Z3YQ

Unfortunately it isn't working anymore, and to be quite frank this mod was so damn impressive that I haven't even bothered to play Arma since it stopped working. I might upload some videos tomorrow of the mod in action, I play with max graphics settings, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that it will blow peoples minds how realistic the ragdoll effects were, for example if I shot a AI in the leg its leg would jolt with the impact. ---------- Post added at 13:01 ---------- Previous post was at 12:32 ---------- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZGn7dbXtys https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mStpAzWSMxc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIB-F2oCTnc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbbzOLsTXGM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjN30-WDlIE

No worries mate, school is definitely far more important, thanks for taking the time to reply.

I'm down on my knees begging you please can you get this mod back to it's former glory when you get some spare time, I'm really missing playing with it.
-
Great news, I have lost interest in A3 since your mod stopped working.
-
It stopped working for me since the damn bootcamp update. I'm so pissed, it was my favourite mod.

Thanks for continuing to improve your mod zooloo75. I have been using your mod with Garrison script and it looks awesome when infantry are blown off balconies and rooftops, especially when they collide with other objects. For those who haven't tried it yet, position some troops beside a low wall and throw a grenade at them, the results look very realistic, a billion times better than the standard PhysX.
