Rules for SQUADS, UNITS, AND FAN PAGES section!

Please be aware of the following rules and guidelines that apply to this forum section (Arma 3 Squads and Fanpages): [*] One thread per squad/unit. The one and only exception: if your unit is active in multiple games (i.e. Arma 3 & Arma Reforger) then you can maintain separate threads in each of the relevant squad/fan pages sections. Note that different branches of the same unit do not count separately and thus may not have their own individual threads. [*] Announcements in your thread may be posted no more frequently than once every two weeks. That means any new posts in your thread may be created no less than 14 days apart. If you post too early, there's no guarantee that the post will be approved (or when). Its contents may be added to the previous post or disappear. Announcement posts must contain actual event info, training announcements, new server details, or similar news. Simply bumping the thread for the sake of moving it to the top is not allowed. You may edit the existing posts in your thread at any time, as often as you want. If you have to announce something sooner than two weeks after the previous post, edit that post to add the details. [*] No discussions are allowed inside squad threads. Any discussions in threads will be deleted without warning. Users are advised to contact thread authors directly (i.e. via PM) if they have questions. Thread authors, make sure to provide sufficient contact details, as well as links to your website/forums. Dear Community, Due to incredibly high inflation in Argentina and Turkey, it has unfortunately been necessary to adjust our pricing in both regions. We did our best to hold off on price adjustments for as long as possible, but due to these latest economic developments, we cannot wait any longer. We greatly care about our community members, both new and old, but in order to keep the effective prices competitive, we will be increasing the price of the base game, DLCs, and Creator DLCs accordingly.

Dear Mercenaries, Some announcements are harder than others, but we’re making this one with an especially heavy heart. Following serious consideration, lengthy debate, and after we had limited our support of the game back in 2019, we’ve now made the difficult decision to discontinue Argo for good. This happened primarily because of a lack of development resources that we needed to allocate elsewhere in our studio. While the game will still be featured in your Steam library, its servers have been shut down permanently, which means the game is no longer playable. We are extremely sorry for this and for the lack of clear communication before we made this step. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support and the great memories you’ve given us over the years. If you’d like to stay in touch with members of the Argo community, you will surely find like-minded 'survivors' in the Arma 3 community.

Over the past week, we have been actively monitoring the responses from the community to the recent release of Arma 3 Creator DLC: CSLA Iron Curtain and we want to address your remarks. The Creator DLC program gives independent creators a chance to get their quality content published by us. That way it can be enjoyed by the community, and the creators can be rewarded for their hard work. Every Creator DLC project is very different, making this a unique challenge to get right. We still very much believe in the goals of the program. We have learned from all releases and are thankful for all pioneering teams working with us so far. We continue to try to improve, but there is still room to do better. We recognize that we did not do enough to ensure the appropriate quality of this particular Creator DLC. We have decided to offer no-questions-asked refunds for Arma 3 Creator DLC: CSLA Iron Curtain via Steam until July 30, 2021. We would also like to remind you about the Steam Workshop Compatibility Data for Non-Owners, which can be used to preview most of CSLA Iron Curtain's assets. This way you can try the Creator DLC for yourself and make an informed decision on whether it is right for you. This does not change our commitment to delivering quality products and we will continue to work with CSLA Studio on resolving as many issues as possible. Thank you to everyone who took the time to provide their feedback.
