everyone would need supercomputers to run physics like that on a large battlefield like Altis or even Stratis. -
Without any start up parameters except for -nologs (not sure if that helps), I have noticed a slight decrease in some of the dense towns but that is to be expected due to the sheer size of them. I have gone from 60 - 90fps on Stratis to about 40 - 60fps in some of the bigger villages on Altis. Outside of the villages I reliably get about 60 - 90fps. i7 - 4770K 16g Ram GTX 770 Lightning Win 8 64bit

Please forgive me if I seem condescending but you do realize that the game is still in beta and will be released on September 12. -
Just installed the dev build (0.75.108469), I now only get about 22fps while playing with the editor (single unit, no mission). Prior to installing the dev build I reliably got 60fps with vsync and 75+ without vsync. I havn't changed anything on the settings and as far as I can tell the settings have stayed the same, I'm wondering if anyone else is having this problem... edit, I have no mods installed. I7 4770K GTX 770 16g Ram Windows 8

Well I'm impressed, well done guys. I cant wait to see what the future holds as far as Arma 3 mods go if this is a small taste of things to come. -
TrackIR's busted for me too, I opted out of the dev and all is ok again. I really hope this doesn't bleed through to the regular beta :confused:

If you had the option of using NV goggles most people would use them in this mission, I guess the idea is to force people not to use NVG's so they can show of the night time lighting effects, it is a showcase mission after all.

While I totally agree that we need to have manual control I really don't think the landing gear deployed makes you a bigger visual target :j: Perhaps in the case of the Comanche and Ghosthawk you might change the radar signature i little but even with that I think you're grasping at straws a bit there.

I’ve been playing around trying to make a few night time missions. One thing I have noticed is that street lamps and flood lights seem way too dark in towns etc, is there any way to adjust this to make them actually illuminate the ground beneath them a bit more?
