nope it's not realistic - it's 100% insta kill if you fire a rocket in/on/next-to a building, which clearly isn't realistic at all. I'm not talking about a small enclosed space.. which would do you a lot of damage granted - i mean off a roof or a terrace. SJ -

Question, does the back-blast prevent using the weapon inside or on-top of buildings ? It's one thing that AGM does that's very frustrating... -

Just get your normal ALiVE mission up and running. Choose who is GM (games-master / ZEUS) for the day. Makesure everyone who wants to play is logged in and on the map so they get the Tasks. Get the GM to load up MCC. They will choose a town or location on the map that gets "special attention" then create an MCC zone over that location. Then either just add stuff manually or if you want be clever use the MCC mission generator. Choose your mission params, make sure it's looking at the right zone you created and hit go... it does it all for you. Anyone logged in whilst you created it will have the mission logged in their system, otherwise, the units and map markers will be there but the mission tasks don't work.. Have fun :) Oh remember DON'T try and use MCC's Caching with ALiVE I've had some funny results with that... Just use the built in ALiVE function to Profile UN-profiled units. SJ -

Tasks in ALIVE are just place-holders, create your own tasks, or use MCC etc to create a mission once you're in the map. SJ -

Agreed the new sunglass effect washes out the game too much for me ? -
Seems to work ok.. I imagine the Weight of the vehicle is a lot heavier so in reality would need a beefier spring rate. SJ

Thanks for the Pointers RedPhoenix - one of our chaps took a look at it and it was easy apparently. He changed the setting at line 1190 springStrength = 801234; // HAFM default: 201234 springDamperRate = 80600.6; // HAFM default: 20600.6 It seems to work :)

Anyone else getting CTD's when people apply this uniform ? I want to run it so I can see people wearing it, but the moment they Lea it on it boots a whole load of us back to the desktop, crashing arma. ? Does it still use assets from Craig's packs ? As I had a nightmare trying to get them to work.. very weird results when I tried to use them. -

Frosty, is this for the Cherno map ? Not tried ALIVE on there myself does ALIVE index internal locations for CQB ? I thought none of the buildings were enterable ? SJ -
LEA fans everywhere... shudder..... ;-P I'm sure the LEA folks could help... sometimes if you rename the config file that LEA extract spits out to XXXX.cfg it works if I recall... SJ

Not checked this out for some time.... Wow - loaded up N'Ziwasogo and wanted to see if TPW lighting added anything and lo and behold the map came alive... I had NO idea it would spawn the appropriate race Opfor though... that one scared the bejesus out of me... I was mystified until I read the updates and realised you've added a mini Local Alive... Awesome... My 5 minute run around a new map became a 3 hour hunt through the jungle for Enemy insurgents... !!! Noticed one small bug, not sure if others have mentioned it. - In the grey Takistan buildings, TPW spawns a little light at about knee height. I assume that's supposed to be the ceiling bulb ? Unless you're working on a TV element ? (a la Radio ?) Anyway just thought I should mention it. Thanks for the excellent scripting !!! SJ- 5767 replies
