Don't binarize your pbo when you pack it while you're developing. Only binarize before you distribute the pbo. Make changes, pack, load game... that's the way I've always done it. Save a mission in the editor as a test environment to make things faster. -

Please correct the errors here. I'd like to use this to set an object on fire for about 10 seconds as part of the code executed by line 8 of bis_fnc_holdActionAdd. Object is named 'barrel1'. If any of this code needs to be renamed for my mission I'm not sure what it is. Anyone know the init code for using the dual screen object from Apex?

I've used those same arguments before. I think the problem here is that the $35 price is not seen as a good value for a terrain. Because of mods we have no use for the weapons/gear and vehicles. The real draw for Apex is the terrain, and although it might be possible to pool some money to buy Apex, the price is too high for what's being bought. It's not just about affording the asking price, it's also the price compared to what's offered. From what I know, the guys in my circle that haven't bought Apex are in college, living in dorms or with parents. With the costs of school and surviving it's not a simple call to spend so much on one terrain in a video game. You wouldn't pay $35 for a pack of cigarettes, although you might be able to afford it. You might balk at paying $35 for a single map in a game like Battlefield or CoD. You might be able to pay $1200 for a smartphone, but is it worth that price? Ultimately I was just venting my frustrations in as civil a manner as possible. Not sure where else to voice my concerns.

I know. I'd be willing to buy it for friends if it was not $35. Charge me $10 just for Tanoa and I'd be buying 5 or 6 of them. Some people just have a lack of resources. The content besides that map would barely be used, so the price is too steep for quite a few to afford.

Tanoa makes me sad. I've been a supporter from the very beginning, and my Supporter Edition was money well spent, but due to the financial model of the Apex expansion I haven't been able to play multiplayer on Tanoa. Would be nice to see Tanoa available separately, because my friends don't want to spend so much on an expansion where Tanoa is the only reason for purchase. Not even sure a reduced price or sale price will be enough. :(

Not really, sorry. I thought that would work, but maybe there's a problem with the scripts used to patch the sections together now that it's trying to be used in A3. I don't do scripting, so I wouldn't be of much help. Best bet is to contact the mod creator, but since he doesn't appear to be active I don't think you'd get very far. Best of luck to you.

PWS doesn't care about what you think. They were always hosting my mod without permission and without any contact whatsoever. Really sucks when people reported a bug or an error from their PWS download, because you didn't give it to the host and you have no idea what version it is. -

If your buddy got shot that means he is in a bad position. Treating him immediately is a serious risk to your own life. You have to maintain fire superiority until you can more safely treat your teammate. Having a longer timer helps. -
If the next game can fully make use of decent computer technology then I'll get it for sure.

Fixing something already present in the game shouldn't be compared to adding new features. In an 'Expansion' I'm looking for an expansion of capabilities and content. I'd imagine if a features list for an expansion had a dozen bullet points that were just fixes we'd all be pretty disappointed.
