How did you make this? I've wanted to make a map were I can test physics, have insane race tracks and places for aircraft stunts. -

Bis should chase realism to an extent higher than other games. I wanted to know wether the game balance designer was going to use realism to balance or cod/bf3 to balance. ---------- Post added at 01:00 ---------- Previous post was at 00:58 ---------- The opening for game balance designer shows the problem is still apparent with the information we have.

I quit every shooter to avoid what the dayz players/ cod kids wanted games to be like. Weapons should be realistic even though it means they would be considered overpowered. Mission makers decide on how to balance the game depending on the game type, BIS should not be making the game more pvp friendly because that is the mission makers job. I would hate to have to quite Arma because it lost realism to be more pvp friendly. ---------- Post added at 23:56 ---------- Previous post was at 23:27 ---------- I really hope the "balancing" job at BIS only is about finding real world weapons that realistically counter "unbalanced" weapons that are that way realistically and not some bf3 or cod game balance designer. You should include the ability to allow players to move their inventory, stats, vehicles, (probably not homes) and other items between server so they do not loose there progress due to bad admins, hackers, server going offline or changing missions and other things.

It seems to run well for me on windows 8. It's pretty much the same as windows 7 only windows 8 is more confusing and is loosing Microsoft money.

Didn't the devs also say the beta was going to include a lot of vehicle focus while the alpha is infantry focused? Alpha is infantry centered while beta was supposed to be more vehicle centered.

Having two paved runways would be nice but I'd like for a small dirt ones or makeshift runways to be added. I used to be pretty good at takeoff and landing at that small crowded runway near Cherno with my big c130j and other jets. -
This is one of the top most voted for things on the feedback tracker, I would think BIS is or has looked at it and is seriously considering it or has done it. The reasom we have heard nothing on it could be because waiting on the code to go together and mabey animation actors or it's still on the "drawing board" before it becomes implemented.

I wouldn't say infantry centered, it's more of a combined arms game were infantry and various vehicle roles are done in a realistic way. Before Arma I had high hopes for combined arms in games such as planetside 2 and Bf3, but the whole infantry centered part made vehicles a free kill essentially unless you spent a ridiculous amount of time in them or had natural skill. Arma 3 needs to do combined arms right and realistically. It's Militery centered for combined arms warfare.

If you can, look at chat as well because the devs confirmed and dismissed a bunch of things and gave extra info on other things like squad level UAV's and stuff.

Are licenses going to be required to drive? You should should be able to drive without a license illegally rusty we than having only people with licenses allowed to drive.

I wouldn't say kids are a bad things as I've met kids who were really mature and adults who were really unmature while playing the game.bit just depends on the person really, not anything to do with age or gender. -
This is not a game were "balance" is used. Realism and simulation is how this game works. Did you shoot the person's helmet? I am looking for a server host which would provide a lag free gaming experience for a large server which Canadians and people from the united kingdom could enjoy lag free with loads of action going on ingame. I would prefer it to be as cheap as possible. I would also like to be able to allow various client side mods for players who want to us them like shacktac's HUD. -
So I was looking around at Atlis on google maps and stumbled across "Stratis" or Agios Efstratios as it is called in real life. It's quite interesting to see that the airfield area has been added in and the adjustments that took place over development. For the idea of having stratis and Atlis on the same map, just look on google earth, they are quite close together in real life. Can I add the proper files to a multiplayer lvl server and have me and a freind the only ones able to access it while others play a different mission. -

Making an anti hack for Arma must also be pretty hard considering you have to get the people wrecking servers, and ruining the game experience while allowing people to use mods to enhance there game experience. -
If its being used or close to being used I'm all for it. Please make a feedback ticket.
