Modern all the way. I still think Arma 3 would be way better if it was situated in a Cold War/Modern day scenario.

I don't see how ACE's 2 medical feature is too hard to make,i know they have other priorities,but,post release maybe? And for the people saying that they don't want a game with hard,challenging and fun mechanics: maybe ArmA isn't for you,if you are looking for a casual game,there's plenty out there to suit your needs. Arma has a core fanbase,and since OFP,they want to see it evolve and turn into something greater,not only graphically,but gameplay wise.

I hate E-sports. And no, Arma will never follow this model.:nono:

Seems like i cant start the game in fullscreen mode,it just doesn't work.Black Screen and the game alt tab itself.

War isn't balanced. Remember fighting Abrams with t 55's? That was fun,and required teamwork. We don't need another rock,paper,scissors game.Its great as it is,we just need improvements.

I wish we had animations like the ramp opening,and the soldiers standing up to jump. They exist in VBS2, so its not impossible to make. :)

Yes,i played it.Its great since it adds all the stuff from Arma 2,that i love so much.And it adds Physics for the A2 units.:D Multiplayer? Nope,but as i said,i can SEE it being really difficult to make,at least for public servers,since the incompatibility is the biggest issue.Any addon that you don't have will make it impossible to join the game. Apparently you can host dedicated servers with it,i just didn't find any yet.There's even a tutorial in the mod wiki.;)

You know,i am not a big fan of the futuristic setting,but it leaves a really diverse amount of choices for the devs,and thats great. As you said,since its Armaverse and its in the future, it could be added,and that would be awesome. ;) I would also like to see the Qaher 313,the iranian stealth-fighter project.It has been seen as a joke by specialists,but again, we are talking about armaverse.

I know what it is. But its not official,thus not supported by the devs and i can see it being a pain in the back to play in multiplayer.

Arma went from "Tactical Military Simulation" to "Massive Military Sandbox". From the Wiki: "ARMA 2 (stylized as ArmA II) is a military simulation video game." "ARMA 3 (stylized as ArmA III) is an open world tactical shooter video game." :butbut: I still trust on BIS,my favorite company of all time.But as said above,its not looking good,and it worries me alot. P.S: Not basing my arguments on the Wiki,that was just a reference.;)

It would be great to have a coin aircraft in the game. Especially the Super Tucano, brazilian made aircraft for counter insurgency ops. ;D Too bad its too old for the game. :(

Nope. What i said,or meant to said was: They could have gone for the Cold War era,instead of futuristic "setting".Because they have more experience with it. (3 games if you count arma 2) They already have the models of tanks,guns,planes and etc.They could use them and upgrade them with the new Physx and interior features, giving us more content on release. Basically,implement all of the good things that are present in Arma 3 on a Cold War scenario. It would be amazing. :)

As i said in another thread: I would take the Cold War setting any day over futuristic era. Its not only about having better graphics. They already had experience with this setting.Just imagine how much cool stuff they could improve from past games: tanks interiors,guns,models,etc. Its still a great game,no doubt on that. But in my opinion,it could have been way better if it was situated in the Cold War era.;)

Multiplayer. Mostly GITS EVOLUTION.
