I am being really stupid, so the 'RHS Patch' version is no longer needed as the standard version does the same amount of damage or has the RHS compat version also been updated with the ACE fix? -

After revisiting this mod after quite some time, I have to say the 'move inside' feature is pretty damn impressive. The fact that (in singleplayer at least) I can move around a moving vehicle so smoothly is beautiful. The fact that what is seen as an engine limitation is being done with scripts is just awesome and I'm hoping BI take a look at this and similar mods that do this and make it an in-engine feature. I did have two questions regarding it, 1 is there a reason you cannot look up or down? And 2, how well does that work in multiplayer as I'm imagining it wouldn't be as smooth as singleplayer? This feature is really cool, hats off to you for this. -
Hat's off to you guys, developing this, the Growler and the FA/18 all at once, all of them in very high quality. Very exciting times ahead.

I'd love to see a Eden release for this, it goes great with the USS Nimitz and as people have already said, downloading CUP is a bit too big (and the cup version is buggy with Eden)

ARMA 3 Addon Request Thread

Hey gents, it has come to my attention that Byrnes (who made the wonderful 3d interior tanks) no longer has the source files for the AAVP7A1 he ported to ARMA 3 which is currently not set up for amphibious tracked PhyX. The only other AAV I know to have been ported is the one in CUP but seeing as that is a big pack to get for one vehicle. I come here in hopes that someone may have ported their own (or even has Byrnes' source files as he said 15thMEU might still have them). With RHS, Chairbornes LAV and Byrnes' AAV I had the ability to create the perfect US Marines in either desert or woodland (the LAV and AAV had desert/dusty textured versions). Any help would be greatly appreciated. -

Fair enough, that will work. I have just been testing the LHD in Eden Editor and have noticed even the empty versions spawn with defences (that randomly fall onto the deck) and there is no way to actually grab, move or even undo the ship. -

Can we hope for a static version of that cruiser Chairborne? We can make quite the fleet with the Nimitz, LHD and the Cruiser. (Not necessarily realistic but it would still look cool for a cinematic I have in mind) -

You should report that on their feedback tracker, however considering Eden has been on dev build for a while the next update for RHS might already have this fixed.- 16577 replies

Are there any big plans to do with the 3DEN Editor and RHS? Like custom attributes or place-able objects (magazines, etc) or is the aim currently still on content production? Either way I await with bated breath for the ability to change the hand-grip positions as that is the best thing ever.- 16577 replies

In the past I just set both vehicle and unit with the 'Flying' special setting and they are in the air. You then just do the BIS FNC PATROL on a waypoint coming from the FIA pilot. -

(Forgive me if this is intrusive, I'm not sure if I could really word it to not sound like it) Regarding the G36's and the default factory sight being it's current zoom mode, is it at all possible to see the default sight be put as 1.5x and then have the current standard zoom set as an attachment in the future? It just came to my mind while I was testing right now that players/communities that don't use magnified optics may not use the the best G36's (being the A1s of course!) due to the increased zoom, they would then use the *shudders* modern G36's (don't get me wrong the model representation is superb but how can you beat the old school?) Does something like a inbuilt sight have a simple config change to effect magnification? If so I'd happily go learn some ARMA modding know-how and with your permission release a micro-edit mod to change that while still keeping the base pack as a dependency. Just so it doesn't effect those who do prefer the current default zoom while still being usable by scopeless groups but not losing the use of the A1 altogether, vive la A1! I know the zoom levels aren't super different but it's interesting how much more you can spot with that magnification increase. -

Ok thanks for the info, do you know if you will do a version which doesn't require ACE? I have some collections which currently don't use it is all and it's quite a big mod to get for the wonderful hand grips.

Hey Toadie, first of all the size of the grin on my face when I saw the G36's was too damn high. Secondly I found a small issue with the classic M60 bipod wherein there is some transparency going on as shown badly here: http://imgur.com/0QapIQ1
