About the folders, i know how to handle them. I was thinking of ppl who might not know and dont use PWS. All cool with PWS tho ;) Another thing: you added numberPhysicalWheels = 3; and also the sounds, but it seems like you forgot to add driveOnComponent[] = {"Wheels"}; to class NH90: Helicopter_Base_H after model = "\HAFM_NH90\NH90.p3d"; in line 171. So the heli is still like nailed on the ground, even landing at 50km/h. I hope you add this to your next update. It's not a gamebreaker but a nice to have feature ;)

This is because BF4 sound fx are from therecordist, at least many of them... But always keep in mind: dou you want to play a military simulation based on real sounds or some "High FX Overdosed Michael Bay Bulls*it"? The sounds from therecordist are real sounds, indeed. But they are also highly processed to fit the needs of Bay&Co but not audiophile guys who like the experience of a real gunfight and not sitting in a cinema watching Transformers...

Am i wrong or is your folder really called "@HAFM_A3"? This would replace the existing folder containing "acc", "crates", "units", "units_blu", "weapons" and not the @HAFM_NH90 folder.

May i ask what mic where used to record the sounds? I can see a Shure Beta57a and a Shure SM58. I'm wondering why you used dynamic mics for close micing and not condenser mics like Neumann KM 184 or Sennheiser E 914? Shure beta 57a frequency response: Neumann KM 184 frequency response: As you can see the Shure Beta57a is lacking frequencies above 16kHz. And imo these are important frequencies...

The vanilla way would be nice to avoid another dependency... Like fastroping... Also both not mounted. Like i said befor... The MG3 got replaced by the Browning M3M aka GAU-21/A, latest generation of the M2HB. AFAIK every 7.62mm MG in combat get's replaced by time due lack of fighting distance (~800m on board, almost no stopping power). M3M 50cal the other hand can reach up to 1.850m and still blows your arm of... This is germany... I don't know what about other countries. BTW @Aplion One of our modder is currently working an a M3M. Just for you to know.

Is it somehow possible to declare a vehicle via config.cpp as a medical vehicle? The same way like adding/enable fastroping? -
Why the old MG3? 7.62mm doesn't even tickle. NH90 (the german version) in combat got 50cal mounted on each door. M3M / GAU-21/A, german title is MG50-1 to be exact... It's the newest version of the all known M2 Browning and optimized for helicopter self defence. NH90 got them during their last two or three years in afghanistan.

A FLIR camera for surveillance. A copilot turret with FLIR optics similar to AH-64 gunner. I don't know if it actually has to be animated or if it's enough just to set a point from where the optics will rotate/work. I tried to add FLIR to a Little Bird but it did't work. Is it somehow possible to split up the textures from the outerHaul to geht more texture details like the doors or the upperTail? The upperTail and the doors got preety awsome details on 2048x2048, but the outerHaul has to cover way more area on the same size. The result is low quality of the markings as you can see.

It adds more variety to the game and gameplay. What would be cooler than playing a air rescue / air medevac with an actual designated rescue helicopter? :D Well, that's my humble opinion. But a alternate transport version with FFV seats on the doors would be a game changer. Maybe even with a FFV crew slot on the (a fixed) rear ramp... But even if this is not possible, i'm totally cool with what you got by now! BTW, i love the crane. But for reality matters just keep the one on the pilot side.
