This is going to be one of the community's last chances to get an input on the content of the game until BIS mentions any other new content being developed. Anything in the giant wishlist thread, if it hasn't been specifically mentioned by the devs, it's not going to happen. From now up until release they'll only be debugging assets that already exist. So before the artists get too far ahead with their work let them know which two aircraft you'd like to see. For me, there are obvious ways to narrow it down. They have to be CAS roles first, dog-fighters second. One has to have distinctly Western design, the other Warsaw Pact or even some of the less common prototype European units, and in general bigger and more powerful than AAN's Buzzard. I'd much rather see something brand-new than a future version of a unit we've already seen in past Arma games, though this is unlikely as it's much easier to model something you've done before and got all the reference materials. I choose for NATO: Either the Rafale or an original daring hybrid of existing US jets like they pulled off with the Mi-48 (No F22/F35 design input as their airframes are so boring to look at). For CSAT: The Rafale again (France was going to sell them to Libya until they bought Migs instead) or a "future" Saab 35 Draken edit: thread moved again? You understand that no one browses this sitcky, right? Especially not the devs.

Because BIS said they were going for "Quality over Quantity", except that aside from a mild graphical update vehicles behave exactly the same as in past games, so........ -

But it's a fictional unit. And look at the other entries: All those variants have been seen. And these: no variants described even though they could have blathered on about a Marid medevac version. That's because they only have one version in game.

I know the website list doesn't include vehicle variants, but yesterday the stream showed Empty -> Air in the editor and there was only one CH-49. Yet the Field Manual in the beta says this: So where are the armed versions? If the underwater dimension really isn't a gimmick it's going to need that anti-sub version, and for the armed version I was really looking forward to a CH-49 with 6 rocket pods like the Mi-17s of past games.

I have a request for a custom camera option. If you have a target lock, pressing a button makes the camera spin to focus on the target. Like in Ace Combat or Wings of Prey. Would be very useful in vehicles and planes. -
Gun Sound QUALITY is fine, but we need more variety.

I also noticed that but never mentioned it, 'cause in my head it seemed like such a basic thing that needed to be changed I never really believed it'd be like that on release. -
Irritating to see the Tank's zeroing stuck on 800m and the guy wondering why none of his shells were even landing in his field of view. Also aerial unguided bombs still have no HUD indicator estimating their area of impact or does it only show up when you have a target lock (why didn't the guy also use that when he was searching for HEMTTs?)?

Isn't that a bug from the T-100 colliding with an Ifrit? No reason for it have wheel arches and wingmirrors. There's an old A3 screenshot of the T-100 crossing swords with the Merkava. Looked like some of the concepts for the T-95.

Guys you don't to beg for an Arma 2 port of the F35 (and leave yourself open to the counter-argument that A2 models are abominations not fit for A3), we've already seen the F35 model flying in A3 and no one was complaining about its quality then. Well they just happened to use the L-159 in A3 which just happened to have already been made for A2 DLC which just happened to be a variant of the L-39 in A2OA. No other game has used the L-159, even flight-orientated games, and BIS just happens to have 3 releases with it in? -
It's funny how quick the moderators are to close threads, even neutral ones asking for comments on a game aspect, yet this one stays open when there are several duplicates he could have posted in. You complimented them for telling us why the singleplayer would be delayed and why the game will go on sale unfinished.

This is beyond sycophantic. Just because a company makes a game or film you especially like doesn't mean they're your buddies. They're not a charity. They're a business.

M1014 also appeared in one of the trade show builds when game journalists played a shooting gallery at one of the camps.

So instead of one delay for the campaign, there are now 3 delays. And some of the earliest screens showed the Keltec, the M1014 and the F35. The models are done. Look how fast modders can put out weapons once they've done all the modelling and texturing. You telling me the weapon properties and animations need that much time? That the beta already has all the infantry weapons except the PDW? How is this "final" release not a beta? The campaign isn't finished, weapons aren't finished, vehicles aren't finished. These "DLCs" are literally no different from the content updates we've been getting on the beta.

Actually the long-range AA missiles are more likely to be mounted on the Tunguska type vehicles, though CAP versions of the two jets are also possible. And I think it's the L159 that uses the machine gun pod. Unfortunately none of that indicates there'll be more than the two known aircraft.

Ah, those. They actually do list the units that use them. Zephyr is used by the Kasatka, ASRAAM appears on the Comanche, the L-159 and F35 both use the Mk82s and GBUs.

Which one? I only found stuff the A-143 (L-159) and the F35F.

There's no way it's going to be "a whole new dimension" on par with land or air. Even in the promo vids they only show the same mission of the SDV going through that narrow valley and then disabling some mines. How could it be anything but a gimmick when each side only has two underwater units (diver and sdv) and one of them doesn't even have weapons?
