    On apparently doing so well in my exams, I've now been permitted to order (and have paid for me) a brand new laptop. I took a while to look at all my options, but for £675 I couldn't find anything better: i7-3630QM 8GB RAM 1TB SSHD nVidia GT650m 15.6" screen Looking forward to it, should hopefully be there for the next content installment!     Maybe they fear for setting it off merely by the vibration of sound waves... And I don't think so, 4th is set to include Arty and Tanks but they said "and more" - whether that's a significant "and more" or a less significant one (maybe some props for mission makers), is yet to be revealed.

    Because he's going on about the supposed symmetry in the game and not how "balanced" (i.e. ballistic measurements) of the weapons themselves are.

    Yes, you can. If you start off connected to Vehicle 1, you can: -Disconnect terminal from UAV -Open UAV Terminal -Right click vehicle Nr.2 -Select Connect terminal to UAV -Take Control
  10. I am extremely pleased to announce St0rm released its 150 player maximum mission onto Altis via the dev branch earlier today. We reached around 85 players at the highest so far. I've taken the liberty of posting here so I can update you all on how Altis performs with so many, and to keep people up to date with the St0rm server's improvements, to kill two birds with one stone. The performance fluctuates really, higher numbers result in a fair amount of desync, whether this is Altis or our server we have yet to confirm. I shall post some screenshots I have in a bit. As for server updates, tomorrow I intend to add UAVs into the mix (you must capture the centre airbase), and there will be anti-tk, side-specific player markers, no shooting in base, and further script optimisation.     Ok, so today's update fixes a couple of things really. -UAVs should now only spawn the correct number in the correct places (2/side) -Vehicle lift script enabled and working

    A tad OT but a supercomputer would probably be worse off due to the nature of how they work (i.e. not built for gaming :P) Back ontopic, I only get slight lag, it's playable though.

    Right now this mission is meant to be only on the St0rm servers as it hasn't been made publicly available due to it still needing work.

    That would make sense though, after all you are loading 10k+'s worth of stuff... Just lower it a bit. I doubt much weaponry would be that effective at range (maybe the aircraft DAGRs or something) anyway.

    Thanks for the input. I'll have a look at what you've mentioned before pushing today's commit through. With regards to the UAV's, when I tested it, for some reason there were multiple (should only really be 2, actually), and because of their proximity they have a chance to all explode.

    Yes, over 10 sectors does have an issue. That's why my 150 player mission only uses 10 :)
